Phube Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 But your sig screams of happiness... Ahhh... if only everything in life was as fine as Zack & Wiki!!
Simi Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I am going to this, sitting in the Kop.If the atmosphere is as bad as it seemed against Plymouth, i will be disappointed. We need to get behind the team! Whereabouts are you sitting/standing?
Zingari Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I refuse to believe that can be anything to do with LCFC mate. I think you've just had a wafty crank. :D
lildave3 Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Ahhh... if only everything in life was as fine as Zack & Wiki/laughing at Arsenal.
Joe. Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I refuse to believe that can be anything to do with LCFC mate. I think you've just had a wafty crank. It's very rare I get good feelings about Leicester City trust me I just think the team might finally pull together and get something.
Stevosevic Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 Whereabouts are you sitting/standing? I'm in Block E3, where i will be sitting, not much chance of standing at the Walkers - stewards
SamL Posted 13 February 2008 Posted 13 February 2008 I'm in Block E3, where i will be sitting, not much chance of standing at the Walkers - stewards Back row of E3 is where I've stood all season, haven't been told to sit down yet.
TJH Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 Norwich fan here. Interesting to see your thoughts on this weekend's game. You boys are due a big performance, whereas, whilst we are in excellent form, the pessimist in me says that has to end soon (unbeaten in 13). On another note, is there an "away pub" near the Walkers or is the Town Centre a better bet? Cheers....
davieG Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 Deja Vu - I'd swear he used this line earlier in the season. I've never known a period in my life like this with penalty decisions and all sorts of stuff going against us," Holloway told BBC Radio Leicester after the 1-0 defeat by Watford. "But if the boys keep believing and keep producing that then the confidence will come back and so will the points."
Darkzzz_ Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 3 points is a must!!! As said above.... I really hate playing Norwich though!!
Daggers Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 Deja Vu - I'd swear he used this line earlier in the season. Happy Groundhog Day!

Hi, The counting house near the ground is home and away fans, it is next to morrisons, but good luck trying to get a drink, its usually packed!
The Reverend Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 http://www.lcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/Lates...1241155,00.html. I love it how they spin these little messages. They mention we are going to get about 24,000, then about 2 lines later tell us Norwich are bringing 3,500! Its the same attendence as normal, just a lot of away fans! W@nkers!
norfolkfox222 Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 FOR ME THIS IS MY HIGHLIGHT GAME OF THE SEASON!!! You boys are due a big performance, whereas, whilst we are in excellent form, the pessimist in me says that has to end soon (unbeaten in 13). Somehow we ended Palace's 15 game unbeaten run, not sure we can repeat the trick with you guys. Rat face has done a good job there, especially given the situation you were left with. Dublin will probably/certainly cause us problems. He was never really that effective for us when he played as a striker, but we used to aim the ball at his head constantly and he wasn't particularly good at being that type of targetman. He's more suited to a passing side like Norwich and he's most dangerous from crosses.
Koke Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 I'm eager to go for the Thracian approach. Clemence on the bench, Weso and Oakley in the middle of the park. And good reports are coming from Ryan Beswick's performances in the ressies, so I presume he's worth at least a place on the bench on Saturday. I'm reluctant to put money on us losing, but whatever I put the opposite always happens. So its worth a fiver.
Simi Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 Radostin Kishishev could be a surprise inclusion in Ian Holloway's Leicester City squad to face Norwich City at the Walkers Stadium on Saturday. The Bulgarian midfielder, who recently returned from a loan spell with Leeds United, played the first 45 minutes of the Foxes' 4-1 reserve team victory over Wolves on Wednesday evening. Kishishev has made nine appearances to date since joining City from Charlton Athletic on a free transfer last summer. And Holloway says that he may turn to the experienced midfielder for the contest against Glenn Roeder's Canaries this weekend. He said: "I liked Radi's performance for the reserves and he might now come back into the squad to face Norwich. He wants the ball and he wants to play - and that's what we need. "He will be there or there abouts. I didn't think that he was quite right for the Watford game because I anticipated a much more robust type fixture. I felt that I needed a combative midfield and then all of a sudden they got a man sent off and we have got the ball all night. That is just one of the perils of being a football manager." From the OS. Interesting, Clemence or Oakley to be dropped if he comes in?
Mark Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 From the OS.Interesting, Clemence or Oakley to be dropped if he comes in? And yet some people are going on that if Holloway gets the sack they've finished with the club, it's as clear as anything he is running out of ideas if thats the answer. Just get it over with it and pick the first 11 players oldest age first and be done with it.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 I think Oakley has played on the right before, maybe he will play there and Kishishev alongside Clemence.
Simi Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 I think Oakley has played on the right before, maybe he will play there and Kishishev alongside Clemence. I'd much rather use them as a narrow three to be honest. But there doesn't seem much room for creativity at all.

It doesn't say anything about inclusion in the team. I can't see him starting to be honest. I really hope not.

robbieLOVESthealmightylcfc Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 we have to remember that norwich are unbeaten in 13 games and on our form it dosent look very hopefull, but lets hope that can all change. cmon lcfc!
clazkel Posted 14 February 2008 Posted 14 February 2008 I actually think Clemence has been playing better lately, i wouldn't drop him, but if it was between him and Oakley, i would choose Oakley as he is the best buy by far out of the players Holloways has brought in. Its about time Wesolowski got back in the team as he hasn't done anything wrong in the past, but keeps getting injured. Why not play all 3 in midfield and don't bother playing wingers. Have Fryatt or Hume just in front of them, then Fryatt or Hume upfront with Hayles. Play the ball to feet through the midfield, forget wingers and crosses and hoofball, play it through the middle which will suit Fryatt and Hume!!

There's no doubt our wingers situation is causing all sorts of problems. Bori and Laczko may come good in me but their impact thus far has been poor. However Holloway likes width. Yet he's overloaded with theoretically goodish central midfield players. What to do? Letting Gradel go has limited ihis alternatives and, other than on the bench, I see Ryan Beswick as our only defensible wing option. And if we go three in midfield one of them has to be attack minded and there's only Andy King fits that description. Wesolowski looks right back to form and fitness too so there would be one choice left from Oakley, Clemence, Kishishev. Not that I can see Holloway thinking that way. He'll go for "experience" in all likelihood. I just wonder if MM is influecing that view or if it's his own. Because Kelly went all "experience" just before he was outed and just after MM had effectively secured the club.
