Joe. Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 That could have been so much worse. I celebrated West Brom's goal like a Leicester goal, it was that important. The sinking feeling when Southampton scored was hard to take and I thought at that very moment that we were down. Chris Brunt has provided us with yet another life line. Let's not screw this one up too.
lildave3 Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Thank god for Chris Brunt. Could have been so much worse. Phew.
DBEightyFive Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Bloody hell!! I'm still trying to recover from a heart attack when Soton scored. Forced me to smoke aswell....not good. Haven't smoked for nearly 7 months but had to have one.
Brainy Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Not exactly the greatest result tonight, but I cant wait 'till Sunday now.
maddog Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 We are dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed! We now need at least a draw at Stoke. Southampton looked good and i rekon they will draw Sunday. Fooking hell West Brom.
filbertway Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 How the hell did WBA not win that by 3 or 4, how any chances do you need.
lildave3 Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 How the hell did WBA not win that by 3 or 4, how any chances do you need. Phillips was shit.
Matt Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 C'mon Sheff Utd, I have more confidence of the keeping us up than I do in our own team. Having said that City, its back in our hands...again...You have had this opportunity many times this season, this is it though, 1 last chance, Do or Die. Stoke City v Leicester City - Sky Sports 2 - Confirmed.
Manwell Pablo Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 We should be Grateful we aren't all but down. C'mon Sheff Utd, I have more confidence of the keeping us up than I do in our own team. Having said that City, its back in our hands...again...You have had this opportunity many times this season, this is it though, 1 last chance, Do or Die. Stoke City v Leicester City - Sky Sports 2 - Confirmed. What on Skysports one?
Finchy Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 COME ON CITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just one more big team to beat!

demon_dog Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Hooooooooooooo Fookin ray!Could have been a lot worse people, as i said on Sunday it's in our own hands Don't make me laugh!! It was in our own hands on Saturday but we couldn't even do anything, the only thing we can hope for is that Southampton lose on Sunday, 'cos our bunch of useless twats cant even help themselves survive.
Kilworthfox Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Don't make me laugh!!It was in our own hands on Saturday but we couldn't even do anything, the only thing we can hope for is that Southampton lose on Sunday, 'cos our bunch of useless twats cant even help themselves survive. Although I agree my statement is correct!
Messi Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 We should be Grateful we aren't all but down. What on Skysports one? Prem Match
Matt Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Where does it say confirmed Matt? On Sky. No doubt something will be announced on the OS tomorrow...Then again we're talking about the LCFC OS.
Sods Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 You fill up my senses Like a gallon of Magnet Like a packet of Woodbines Like a good bit of stuff Like a night out in Sheffield Like a greasy chip butty Like Sheffield United Come thrill me again
C-man Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I couldn't bear to watch. Switched off at 60 minutes after Albion missed a few chances. Then 20 minutes later I got a text saying 'Shit...' I was pleasantly suprised when I saw the final score as I was expecting worse. It's in our hands, again. This time it will be different.
jamfox Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 Bloody hell!! I'm still trying to recover from a heart attack when Soton scored. Forced me to smoke aswell....not good. Haven't smoked for nearly 7 months but had to have one. I almost sparked up in the walkers when hume was taking the penalty.... 2 years for me. well boys its in our hands.. give me 6 pints and the last 5 mins of stoke game if its all still to play for... ill chain smoke and still have a heart attack from stress... gona be a long long week.
Koke Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I couldn't take it any more. I went out and smoked quite a few and came back in and it was 1-1. Thank God for Chris Brunt. In other news, congratulations to West Brom for getting promoted. Well done to them.
Corky Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 I thought West Brom were extremely poor, Phillips was awful, and frustrated they didn't try for the win near the end. You could just hear Birtles hoping Saints won to all but put us down. If we equal the Saints result, we survive. It's gonna be nervy
Thracian Posted 28 April 2008 Posted 28 April 2008 We are dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooomed! We now need at least a draw at Stoke. Southampton looked good and i rekon they will draw Sunday. Fooking hell West Brom. Not necessarily. Southampton might yet hang themselves although they are at home.
