Unpopular opinion here, but the amount of waxing lyrical about another Federer-Nadal match at Wimbledon just bores me even more now than it did the last time they played each other there.

Yes, they had some sensational matches back in the late 2000's at Wimby. Yes, they're two of the greatest players to have played the game. And no, the standard being displayed isn't the same and Djoko will likely steam, ream and dry-clean whichever of them makes it through. Move with the times, people.

Perhaps the over-hyping just gets to me. :dunno:

Federer not even trying on Nadal's games.....wonder what people would have been saying if it was Kyrgios doing the same.

Roger Federer

Versus Nadal at the net

Not trying? Really?

At 5-1 most wouldn't try. Might as well conserve energy for the rest of the game.

Bit of a disrespectful way to talk about them that imo. Think federal in particular is more than capable of giving Novak a game.

Nadal looks a little tired here. Wouldn't surprise me if Federer runs away with this set and wins the match. Nadal needs a second wind

Federer just defies the aging process. Still so fit, strong and agile even at 37.

My mum messaged me the other day saying she didn't realise I was the same age as Federer. I'm not 37 until Christmas ? Cheeky cow ?

To be clear it’s the day, I am many (well a few) years younger than the GOAT. ?

Would love a fifth set.

Could watch these two legends battle it out all day and night.

What to watch Sunday afternoon? :dunno:

Men's tennis final?

British F1 GP?

Scottish Open golf?

WC Cricket final?

Or WC Netball?
