Guest Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 It's not people as such that keep the economy moving but people earning and spending money. And my observations - which I trust more than any books or doctored statistics - suggest people have considerably less to spend now than they used to and the only thing that's going to change in that respect is their increasing levels of debt - just like that of Gordon Brown's Britain really. That will inevitably get worse when the Government has finished with the giveaways it can't afford and when the sweeteners they'll offer before the next General Election are later transformed into ever more punitive taxes. The reality is that jobs are being shed by the thousands and there are vastly more immigrant potential workers on our streets now than there ever were in the 60's competing for a diminishing number of low and moderately paid available jobs and they are doing their competing aided by regulations that are blatantly loaded in their favour so that the natives feel shafted. Right or wrong, that doesn't represent fairness to a growing number of people in the street and the proof of that won't be reflected yet in educational books or the government's doubtful statistics... it will be reflected at the polls as I have already warned. Why my concern? Because while that's arguably the last thing our country wants or needs, the message is clear that something is seriously wrong despite the blindfolds that some choose to wear?. But the thing is, fewer people are coming into the country now than at the turn of the millennium. The other thing is that we don't just open the borders to anyone and everyone who wants a job. There are rules and procedures in place that stop this. There always were. Those coming from outside the EU have always needed a work permit, and to have a work permit, they need to have an offer of employment. EU citizens are allowed to move around the EC to work, or to look for work, but have to be economically self-sufficient. This includes adequate health cover (Form E111, the one we need to have when going on holiday, is the one that guarantees them emergency NHS treatment). Those who have come across from the recently added Eastern European states have been subjected to further restrictions, in that they have had to register under the Workers Registration Scheme. For the earlier accession states, the employer was responsible for this (it is a criminal offence not to register the employee), but the Bulgarians and Romanian workers who don't hold valid registration certificates are now also criminally liable. Whilst it is easy to say that we are indiscriminately allowing people to come over here and take our jobs, the fact is that the jobs are there in the first place, and they are not being taken by the indigenous population. We should be addressing the issues as to why we have to go abroad to fill vacancies, not blaming it on immigration policy. It seems to me that politically it is easier to have the media blame foreign outsiders than it is for people to be openly critical of this country and its failings. One other thing to note, our Government is able to restrict the job market to foreigners at any time. It is very easy with those outside the EU, but even EU Directives exist that allow the UK to prevent EU workers from coming into the UK. Despite all the furore surrounding immigration policy over the last few years, it's interesting that this Directive has been so rarely used. One mother of nine said she could understand why people supported the BNP. She added that she was on a waiting list for a six-bedroom house. "I'm not prejudiced but they are letting too many immigrants in, it's stupid and it's not going to be Britain no more."A mother of nine? No, you're stupid for having so many kids if you cannot afford them. Well said that man!
Bazaldo Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 you missed the bit about then sitting about on her far ar5e and expecting the tax payer to pick up the bill for her house, council tax and god knows how much in benefits every month scrotes like this are the prime example of the ignorance that surrounds BNP membership as portrayed in this thread!!I am sure in the next paragraph she would go on about how it's a disgrace that they come to this country have the cheek to work contribute tax and national insurance while her and partner have not done days work for the last 15years because they can't get a job.... Oops i'd better be careful. Can't have opinions. Good old Labour see them as doing the country a valuable service though in supplying so many future workers. So they get rewarded. Prob overpaid in benefits too, which Labour will then admit they havn't a clue as to why they screwed up....again!! Not totally their fault, they play the system these scroats. I believe more could be done to get the lazy arses back into work.
Dr The Singh Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 I've got a copy of the list, not sure i dhould post it though, not surprisingly there are a few people from Leicester\shire, one guy lives just around the corner to me!!!
Daggers Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 Panorama - What Nick Griffin and the BNP really stand for 5Live - morons phone-in special one BNP member, Steve Barkham, confessing to a violent assault on an Asian man, and a prospective election candidate admitting to a campaign of pushing dog excrement through the front door of an Asian takeaway.Another man is seen saying that he wants to kill Asians and attack mosques. Activists are filmed plotting to fire bomb a van being used by to distribute anti-BNP literature. The Secret Agent was broadcast on BBC One at 2100BST on Thursday, 15 JulySuper group of chaps - just like any other political party, eh!

Thracian, although I agree with many of your points, it's not only the natives that are getting worried about the 'over populated' Britian but the plus third generation immigrant community aswell. In a recession the job market is tough, our infrastructure (schools, hospitals etc) are over run etc but for me it's an issue the government has caused. It has failed to address the problem of getting the unemployed back to work, hence the requirement of manpower was essentially required. You clump all immigrants together and go on about the 60's, but there is a great disparity between them, certain groups have faught for Britian in the last two world wars, certain groups have actually contributed MORE to British society, interms of jobs, wealth prosperity etc then recieved, so it would be quite wrong to be pointing fingers at those, and I think those groups would find it disgusting that you disregard there contributions to british society and make them a 'scape goat' for the natives hard commings!! You also forget, the immigrant doctors, nurses, surgeons who make a massive contributions!! Unless, your can determine and assign which immigrant groups, you are particularly talking about, you will annoy this proud British Sikh!!!!
Daggers Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 Rod Lucas dropped by TalkSPORT after BNP links emerge Replaced with a record by Foreigner apparently.

The interesting thing I've noticed in my immigration seminar group is that it is the British born Muslims who are more worried about immigration than any other ethnic group in the class! The press would have us believe that they weren't carrying textbooks in their rucksacks as well......
Suffolk_fox Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 I found someone I knew from my days in the RAF Police. He is retired, but he was a **** then....
breadandcheese Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 One mother of nine said she could understand why people supported the BNP. "I'm not prejudiced but they are letting too many immigrants in, it's stupid and it's not going to be Britain no more."A mother of nine? No, you're stupid for having so many kids if you cannot afford them. Quite the reverse. With the way the system's set-up, the fat scrounger receives more benefits the more kids she has. She would be stupid for not pumping kids out. In fact, it is her licence to print money. The idiots are us for not demanding our fine politicians do something about the welfare state to stop this from happening. I'm not going to ask the question how many people expect to be able to afford a 6 bedroom house in their lifetime. Here, this lady expects it as her right/entitlement which the country should provide free of charge. Despite this, I hope not to divert the thread from the basic premise that the BNP are a bunch of racist w*nkers, who unfortunately will probably make political capital from the fact the list has been put into the public domain.

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 I can't decide whether this is a good thing or not. I don't agree with the BNP whatsoever and feel the party is a disgrace, but imagine how scared the members are now. I'd be looking out of my window at all times scared for my life. Don't agree with their policies on Immigration, although it does need to be stopped now as there are too many people living in this country. However, I do agree with the abolition of the Human Rights Act - which they propose to do - and they're the only party who will bring back the Death Penalty - something I agree with !!
JakeShingler Posted 20 November 2008 Posted 20 November 2008 Found the list now, 'kinell there's a few people that live near me. Dont be so suprised.
