Houdini Logic Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 and as i said beforehe didn't do it in the most sober fashion... but people on here are either calling him a **** for trying to sing for palestinians dying or for being completly fooked at a football match i dont really have a problem with either... i have seen my far share of smashed people at football let him get pissed and be a ****.... OH WELL i'm done now..... i will be ripping him next time i see him dont worry oh and i'll call him a **** for everyone too The short and long of all of this is that a football crowd is full of many different people with many different beliefs. Remember - what one person see's as black another person may see as white. Out of respect for your fellow fans, save it for the right time and place.

Is there ever a right time and place for "GAS THE JEWS"?

There is NO excuse for singing about palestine, jews, muslims,Mancs at a fcuking Palace v City game.

surrifox Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 I think thats your opinion on the F.A Cup. I am all for the F.A Cup and trying to progress as far as we possibly can in the competition. I agree , I love the competition and some of my fondest lcfc memories are connected with the cup - (are there any other FT members who attended the 1969 Final?) but NP was so sanguine after the defeat last night that you feel he has nothing but promotion on his radar and we will have our day in the sun later in the year. What was particularly galling was to lose a key player in a game that it was clear we just hoped to get through unscathed and secondly to lose over 2 games to such a lack lustre bunch of nobodies as palace who would see themselves as serious play off contenders

I sincerely hope the bloke singing that has woken up with a stinking hangover, realised what an idiot he was and feels completely mortified. If he hasn't, he should be banned from football matches just like any other knuckle-dragging racist, regardless of colour.
Houdini Logic Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 Is there ever a right time and place for "GAS THE JEWS"? Of course not - i was referring to the Palestine conflict and people's (non-football related) views in general.
Raj Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 Take your time - re-read it slower Thats bollox wasnt aimed at you as you state leave it for the right time and place. Im just emphasising that even trying to justify it is bollox. Oh perhaps abit of that bollox was for you trying to justify it then!!!
Flynny Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 Is there ever a right time and place for "GAS THE JEWS"? Germany, 1941. It was a blatant attempt at 'edginess' gone bad, the word 'gas' is plenty more emotive than any other possible choice of word, too. Jobber's 'telling off' was a joy to behold. Oh and I wondered where everyone behind me had gone, literally didn't notice anyone leave and then turned around and did a double take. All that witty repartee I'd saved up for half time, wasted.
Thracian Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 It was an embarassement and the lads singing them were c*nts. In the second half it continued particularly with the smaller guy standing on the seat with the red top and shirt underneath. Twat. Me and Suffolk_fox exchanged words with him and he was one of the most aggressive arseholes I've ever had the misfortune to meet. The stewards were informed soon after and he was ejected. Well, if he was fancying a pop at Suffolk he must have been the grey cells short of a brain.
Father Ted Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 Warnock unhappy about treatment of strikers last night Typical Warnock, now he comes out and has a moan. Will all those Warnock bum-lickers still be bum-licking him? Probably, but anyway, how he can say that when Tunchev is stretchered off and Scanell who comes on for Moses flipping scores!

And he's the manager of James Scowcroft, one of the dirtiest players I've ever seen .
BoneDog Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 I had to move away from that guy in the red top before he went on singing about palestine. Glad I missed that. I had had enough by the time he had completely exhausted that (shit) 'and that's the way we like it, we like it, we like it' chant, and had gone through several renditions of the FC United song about Glazer and Sky. Just why? What was the purpose? It is pointless singin the war songs at football. It's football we go for not politics. What I'm wondering is why someone would sing an FC United song and go on about bein a manc? Surely couldn't of been a Leicester fan. Must of been someone who went with a mate. I've took a few mates before who don't support Leicester, but if they sung songs for anyone else they would of got slapped right in the chops
BoneDog Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 You're missing the point, entirely. The point is that we don't have the squad size or the dominance in the League you think we do, enough to be able to throw ourselves into every competition with equal aplomb. The League matters, massively, more this season than it has done at any time in our recent history. We must get promoted. The FA Cup is an irrelevance, as is everything else other than winning the next League One fixture. No, you're missin my point. I never said throw ourselves into every comp. I said an FA Cup run would of been welcome with me and i think we should of rested our best players against the weak ass teams in the league (not all but the few teams who are obviously inferior) and not against Palace Palace are the best team we played since Fulham and it's FA Cup round 3. We could of beat them last night with full strength

Monk Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 It went something along the lines of 'you should be fking ashamed of yourselves the lot of yer'. But was actually a lot more threatening than it sounds!
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 Spoilt the first half for me. You just never know with our fans. First half back row, shit. Second half front row, good laugh. Who knew? PS - Shefki loves it.
Kilworthfox Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 What was Jobber's telling off like? I missed it. What cracked off? Did I miss out?
davieG Posted 15 January 2009 Posted 15 January 2009 What cracked off? Did I miss out? You need to read the last 15 or so pages
