Daggers Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 Would you rather have chips or sautéed potatoes? Both are good, thank you
Ashley Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 He's been excellent so far this season, great signing shows we have the scouting capabilities to bring in good Players. How long did he sign his Contract for?
DB11 Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 He's been excellent so far this season, great signing shows we have the scouting capabilities to bring in good Players. How long did he sign his Contract for? I thought it was 3 years as he said he'd be in the Prem with Leicester (minimum this season is 1 year, next would be 2 years then the third would be 3 years) Though it's very unlikely we'd get back to back promotions
C.J Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 Cool as ice, the way he just calmly chests down a ball to another player. Tunch is a rock, brave aswell.
CosbehFox Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 we have got one foot in the championship Shut Up! He's quality - he was a class above either Mackail-Smith and McLean today. That header on McLean after about 8 minutes soon sorted him out. He's superb. Be very interested to see him against Palace. The Bulgarian Bulldozer! Tunch!
ousefox Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 He was a rock today! Best signing this season.

cska_fan Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 I'm very proud of your comments:) He has contract for three years but last time when he was in Bulgaria he said that he is extremely happy to play for Leicester. When we had financial problem he said that he doesn't care about money. So you have to be sure that he will not betray the club. This is link for a clip for the best bulgarian defender - Sasho Tunchev! http://www.vbox7.com/play:21b0d14a
CosbehFox Posted 20 December 2008 Posted 20 December 2008 Loved that! It was a beautiful. If you're a 6ft defender who rarely gets the opportunity to score a goal, that's your holy grail. Get up, clean header and man flattened fairly. I may correct in saying he didn't even concede a foul today.
potter3 Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 He's just so casual about it. Never seems to even break out in a sweat.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 We must build a team round him we have got one foot in the championship now it is obvious hes our best player but a lot of you on here wont be happy until he leaves would that give you something to whinge about ? Weird
skinnydipper Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 It is ridiculous saying Tunchev is streets ahead of everyone else. As a winger like Dyer or Gradel. a striker like Fryatt or Howard, or a central midfielder like King or Davies he'd look very ordinary. I'd agree he is our best centre-half right now. But beyond that I'll reserve judgement until I see him up against a few more like Kevin Phillips. You forgot to say that he also might look pretty ordinary playing in goal
Kilworthfox Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 He is fantastic, the best player we have. He could in my opinion play in the Premiership no problem. He is easily the best player in our league. He is calm, quick, strong and has a great temperament and ability to read the game, best signing for years!
Mickey O'Neil Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 You forgot to say that he also might look pretty ordinary playing in goal He's like a f ucking silent assassin. You don't know how much you miss him 'til he's gone (you probably do, but you get my drift!). To be called a legend this early on in your Leicester career, speaks volumes. He is the calmest City player I can remember, very very rarely makes a mistake...an absolute Rock of God-like proportions! He could have many years as a regular in the Prem. If he was to leave City, I'm certain he'd never get a bad reception from our fans. Tunchev

Corky Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 Fantastic signing. Reads the game superbly, doesn't panic and looks to pass the ball into midfield. Very brave with headers too. In love with the guy.
Munzie Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 Hi, I'm from Bulgaria and I'm supporter of the previous football club of Sasho Tunchev - CSKA Sofia. I'm interested of your opinion of him. We still fill bad that he leaved us, but We hope that he improves his game. He was a captain of CSKA and i assure You that he is very loyal. Tunchev, Martin Petrov, Dimitar Berbatov, Stiliyan Petrov, Hristo Stoichkov are players that have something incommon and this is the biggest bulgarian club CSKA Sofia:)There is a player (Valentin Iliev) who played together with Tunchev 3 years in CSKA and they were perfect. They play also in Bulgarian national team and Italy didn't score in the game for the world qualifications. Now he is in Terek ( Russia) and Your chairman can bye him and i think that you will have central defenders for Priemier League. BTW with these defenders we won against Liverpool at Anfield in 2005. Regards from Bulgaria I'm very proud of your comments:) He has contract for three years but last time when he was in Bulgaria he said that he is extremely happy to play for Leicester. When we had financial problem he said that he doesn't care about money. So you have to be sure that he will not betray the club. Guest Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 He's fast becoming one of my favourite players to grace a city shirt in recent years. Consistently good, and does exactly what's needed.
David O'Leary Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 http://soccernet.espn.go.com/players/stats...mp;&cc=57395 Yellow Cards in total. 2 for Bulgaria - Not sure if you want to count them. 3 for Leicester City - 1 in a JPT game, 2 in league games. One of those was for time wasting against Huddersfield, so it's only 1 for a foul in the league.
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 December 2008 Posted 21 December 2008 On the way home from yesterday's game I was thinking to myself about the foreign players we've had at the club who have made the impact Tunchev has. Only one springs to mind - Kaamark. Tunchev is a lot like Kaamark for me. He is Mr Dependable, he never does anything rash, he has a cool head, he is calm and assured. Kaamark was a real favourite down here and rightly so. Tunchev will achieve similar status for me. He's real class.
Munzie Posted 22 December 2008 Posted 22 December 2008 Lets hope the loyalty comments are true on his part. I feel we'll have to fend off a few offers for him during the next couple of transfer windows.
