JoeyB Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 Im not sure any swap deal would be involves and Vokes is 1 for the future for us suppose you could have Keogh ,but even he is going to improve. I'm all over taking Keogh. Keogh and Davies + mooola would be a great deal.
Joe. Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 You'd really let him go even for Davies? I wouldn't. It's pointless selling him when we don't have a ready replacement and probably won't replace him in the window.
morris1234 Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 i love fryatt and want him to stay! 2mill, piss off! id want keogh and 5 mill but thats not going to happen so therefore you can wipe that 2million pound on a badgers arse for all i care. Legend_in_blue Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 Wolves are in a false league position. They will screw it up. It's happening now. Anyway, we are a bigger club so why would he leave? They have plenty of striker options too, so I can't see the logic behind this one at all. They have plenty of striker options too, so I can't see the logic behind this one at all. I think they will bottle it. The Wolves fan view seem exactly the same as ours over our club - In the fact that something is going right so something must go wrong soon (Tunch being out for the rest of the season is a huge negative already). But I know 2 Wolves fans who have said exactly the same thing - "If Wolves were top of the table 4 point clear, going into the last game of the season Wolves would still manage to bottle it or fuk it up somehow"
C-man Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 I don't think he'll go. And we'd be foolish to sell.
morris1234 Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 the thing we have to remember is we are not in a position where we have to sell. bottom line. some teams are sadly not so lucky when it comes to money.
lildave3 Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 Yeah, £2m + Davies. I'd snap their hands off.
J.Lisemore Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 It would be foolish for Fryatt to leave now seeing how hes just signed a new contract with us, surely he knew their was interest from other clubs and as far as im concerned if he wants to leave he shouldnt have signed the contract. James_lcfc Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 they don't need any Forwards but £2m+Davies+Vokes and they can have him I'd be more than happy with a straight swap for Davies and Vokes, never mind the £2million! Would be a great bit of business. In fact, I wouldn't object to a straight swap for Davies.....

Ashley Posted 16 January 2009 Share Posted 16 January 2009 I think he's going to be honest, why would we have rested Fryatt for on Wednesday? Edit: Saying that everyone thought Oakley was on his way after being rested in the first leg

The Bear Posted 17 January 2009 Share Posted 17 January 2009 Another crap story made up by The Sun. We have 4 forwards all challenging for a place with our 2 backup strikers both scoring in the cup on Tuesday night. Why would we want to buy Fryatt so he can sit on the bench? Why would we want to buy Fryatt so he can sit on the bench? Not including the Brum game - your back line is now semi-shocking unless it's going to be sorted before the window closes. Bristol carved you apart in the second half with Stearman continuing to look over-exposed. Consequently, why would Fryatt want to join a team which is going to be in the same division as us next season?
Steven Posted 18 January 2009 Share Posted 18 January 2009 Rumours on TB are that Fryatt missed training today. Any link to his link to Wolves.
Thracian Posted 18 January 2009 Share Posted 18 January 2009 Rumours on TB are that Fryatt missed training today. Any link to his link to Wolves. Or simply a precaution after his recent injury given the softness of the Belvoir Drive pitches and the fact that we are so short of strikers? JoeyB Posted 18 January 2009 Share Posted 18 January 2009 Wolves have offered 2M + Davies for Fryatt, Porter and Thracian's scouting ability & cupboard under the stairs.
Edmund Posted 18 January 2009 Share Posted 18 January 2009 I see they were also linked with Mattock. Is Stearman trying to persuade them to invest in the whole Leicester team.
