Sorry if I got it all wrong/ No I was wearing glasses, but for those that don't know - my names Darren/Daz. I think it was Corky playing football with Stez's daughter. Edit: Just about to look through the pictures myself.
Koke Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Yeah, I met Corky, but there was another lad that I couldn't quite recognize.
Finnegan Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Yeah, I met Corky, but there was another lad that I couldn't quite recognize. Was he a short guy with glasses that wasn't me? If so, that was fox123.
Koke Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Can't remember if he was wearing glasses to be honest. We were playing a triangle pass football with stez' daughter until she had enough of me and refused to let me play I think he said his name was Wayne so it can't have been fox123.
Bert Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Gotta be said, though, Cobbo in the first half was the best keeper on the pitch. How we weren't 10 - 1 down at half time was beyond me. I got fouled by Cobbo in the first half as I went to take it round him - he even admitted it. Stayed on my feet though. I just really wanted to score as I havent in an FT game. I looked round to the Gaffer (Bert) and he said 'Lofty' and pointed to the spot. I had faith in you, you were having a cracking game.
lildave3 Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Just remembered Hullfox's crunching tackle in the first minute
AoWW Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Can't remember if he was wearing glasses to be honest. Yeah, there was another guy there for a while. I didn't know who he was either. Sorry, that's not much help.
Raj Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 These games are never as much fun without me....\Well Done Young uns!!!
Dr The Singh Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Great match, thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought everyone that played did themselves proud!! Some new faces, plying and on the touch line, maybe next time we should all intoroduce ourselves!! The ref was superb, only if officiating for city games was this good!!
OriginalRobboFOX Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 Yeah, there was another guy there for a while. I didn't know who he was either. Sorry, that's not much help. Its my mate Wayne, he just came down to watch, he's not on the forum.

Sparky Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 thank him for entertaining ella, during my brief cameo Apparentley Ella said to Wayne as you were playing " My dad hasnt even kicked the ball once yet"
stez Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 He wasn't the only one! didn't she bum you off saying you weren't her best friend anymore? Apparentley Ella said to Wayne as you were playing " My dad hasnt even kicked the ball once yet" she's yet to learn the intricacies of 'off the ball play'
Corky Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 didn't she bum you off saying you weren't her best friend anymore? Doesn't she like me any more?
Hullfox Posted 20 January 2009 Posted 20 January 2009 Just remembered Hullfox's crunching tackle in the first minute I prefered to call it a marker in the sand LD. In fairness it was the only time i got close to you.
Guest Posted 20 January 2009 Posted 20 January 2009 Apparentley Ella said to Wayne as you were playing " My dad hasnt even kicked the ball once yet" She said it several times, just in case anyone who could hear didn't get the message the first time.
Corky Posted 20 January 2009 Posted 20 January 2009 She said it several times, just in case anyone who could hear didn't get the message the first time. She's gone off me I thought we were friends
