Ozwin Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 Obviously it'd have to be at the Walkers. It'd be awesome, we never have anything like that and all the other clubs do it when they get promoted. Who wants to go on the pitch first? ousefox Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 If our last home game of the season is on the Friday i think we should all go on to mess it up for the rugby
Foxhateram Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 If our last home game of the season is on the Friday i think we should all go on to mess it up for the rugby If there is a game that we could potentially win the league/gain automatic promotion if we win it, Then i will be there and i will hit the pitch first if needs be
Finnegan Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 Aye, it's truly vital for the pitch to be in fantastic condition for a game of rugby.... ..... ....
Big Ol' Bob Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 If we do go up then I'm going to run on the pitch, pull my trousers down and rape the centre circle dry. Oooooohhhh Yeeeeaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh
Ozwin Posted 24 January 2009 Author Share Posted 24 January 2009 So what's the general ruling on pitch invasions? Do you do it on the last game of the season or on the game where you clinch promotion?
Big Ol' Bob Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 Last game.
Monk Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 We'd probably end up getting fined for it. Would be pretty cool though
jerakin Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 I dont see why its a big deal, back in 70s/80s nobody batted an eyelid. It felt great to be on the pitch after going up. Away at Orient was great!
Shrenchel Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 We'd probably end up getting fined for it. Would be pretty cool though Bollocks. Loads of clubs do it. How are they gunna fine 5 thousand people?! Gotta be last game though.

davieG Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 Judging by the number of security staff around the pitch at the end of today's game I think you'll find it difficult.
Shrenchel Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 A pitch invasion after being promoted from League 1? Do you celebrate when we score or do you consider it below us to celebrate scoring a goal in league one?

CosbehFox Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 A pitch invasion after being promoted from League 1? Redemption. Roots Hall would be nice or Edgar Street.
Guest Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 i'll organise it what i want you all to do is run on the pitch after the final whistle , got that ? good Does it have to be a full on run, or can I casually jog down? And by "after the final whistle", do you mean we move when the final whistle blows, or can we get ourselves into position first?
StanSP Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 Bollocks. Loads of clubs do it. How are they gunna fine 5 thousand people?!Gotta be last game though. They would fine the club, not the public.
Tommeh Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 tbh if the 400 odd strong lads/lasses in L1 want on the pitch, can't seeing too much stopping it. Then it'd be up to the rest of ground to follow suit. Leeds home would be perfect although boy will there be plod present at that one.
CosbehFox Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 Anyone already done one? I've done Sincil Bank - last home game of the season, apparently it's tradition there.
leicesterseddon Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 We'd probably end up getting fined for it. Would be pretty cool though meh. they'd do fook all with everyone on the pitch. i don't see what the problem is. the pitch invasion is the one last great bastions of english football, and we should celebrate it. nothing dangerous ever happens with a generic 'end of season promotion' pitch invasion, and even the plod might recognise that. what has to happen is that 10-5 minutes before the end, everyone has to be standing at the front, edging towards the pitch. then it will happen. Mickey O'Neil Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 I'm all for an invasion, as long as people don't go on the pitch before the whistle goes.
philce Posted 24 January 2009 Share Posted 24 January 2009 We'd probably end up getting fined for it. Would be pretty cool though Were Stoke fined for their "invasion" last year? Bunch of thugs they were, even the ref bottled it and didnt allow the injury time he had indicated. Could have scored and stayed up. Still, we wouldn't be having such a good time like now if we'd stayed up. No amount of plod or stewards will stop us if loads go on, im sure us in L1 will oblige!!!
