Mickey O'Neil Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Is any of the training gear in the club shop yet? Not sure if it's training gear, but in the shop on Friday (in the cordoned-off bit) were some green shirts. I'm trying to think if these were polo shirts or a collarless type! I think they were collarless/training tops. It was a nice green as well...looked a bit like the old VW Oak Green.
markbsac Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I really like the shirt, only slight issue is i have an imprint of the badge thats on the front on the back. But i love it, its great quality. Would've prefered the badge to be on the left side, but at least its different. yeah mine had the imprint of the badge on the front go through onto the back...washed it and it ironed out though.....but i have really bad sharp creases on it that wont come out and also what looks like an iron burn...hopefully will come out with washing
Bluefoxtim Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Last season I had a size age 11-12, and it was baggy. This year I have size age 11-12, and it is also baggy. I have only worn it with something else underneath, and the guy in the megastore said it was a perfect fit.I hate female fitted shirts, especially when the kids ones fit, and are cheaper . Although I haven't seen our new one, I bet it's got capped sleeves. I bet he did
john_lcfc Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I've read through about 10 pages and Im now bored. All i want to know if how much the new shirt/kit is? cheers
Bert Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I've read through about 10 pages and Im now bored. All i want to know if how much the new shirt/kit is? cheers £40 if you're not a season ticket holder. £32 if you are, but you have to take in your 20% voucher. Gonna get mine next week, then at the end of the season got the sqaud to sign it and get it framed and that.
john_lcfc Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 cheers mate, I might wait until christmas when no doub it will be about £20
Guest Bilo Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I've read through about 10 pages and Im now bored. All i want to know if how much the new shirt/kit is? cheers £40 without a season ticket. £32 with one. (Remember the 20% vouchers that came with your season ticket though) It fits better than the Jako efforts (especially round the neck) Seems to be the best quality shirt in ages. I'm happy with my purchase. The anniversary badge is bloody lovely.
RowlattsFox Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 I'm in 2 minds whether to buy the kit or not. It's not worth £40 but I'm struggling to fight the temptation <_< Going on holiday this weekend and I always like showing my Leicester shirt off. I hardly ever wear shirts to matches so it would only get occasional use when I'm actually playing football, ideally I wanted the away one to be out by now so I could choose one or the other because I know I'll probably end up buying both.
ACF Posted 6 July 2009 Posted 6 July 2009 Medium I think for me, if I get a small, I can guarentee I'll grow straight away.
jonah Posted 7 July 2009 Posted 7 July 2009 happy with mine, nice fit, and i like the look of it, £40 is about the going rate and mines extra large so i get more material for my money! its also pretty exclusive down here in exeter
Ashley Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 I've just brought me the shirt and my little sister the full kit i'm impressed.
Monk Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 How is the sizing for everyone - is the medium a bit on the large side as in previous years? Was thinking of going for a small one.
AyewJoking Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 Was in Skeggy at the weekend and saw some dude wearing one, looked smart but the dude needed a haircut!
lildave3 Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 Was in Skeggy at the weekend and saw some dude wearing one, looked smart but the dude needed a haircut! Was it Michael The Work Geordie?
AyewJoking Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 Was it Michael The Work Geordie? To be honest, I'm not sure whether it was a man or a woman.
lavrentis Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 To be honest, I'm not sure whether it was a man or a woman. When was this Ah last weekend. I saw a grown man walking through Grantham in a full Leicester kit *cringe*
Joe. Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 Am I the only one who thinks it's the wrong shade of blue? Nit-picking here, but I'm quite bored right now. Not sure whether I'm going to buy this yet or not. No doubt I'll end up doing so though.
derbydan Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 if this shirt is anything like our old joma strip it will be poor quality im afraid
StanSP Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 if this shirt is anything like our old joma strip it will be poor quality im afraid
Rich Fox Posted 9 July 2009 Posted 9 July 2009 Well...I'm maybe on my own here but WHAT A WASTE OF A PLAIN 125 YEAR ANNIVERSARY KIT.....its terrible, I am gutted as I have been waiting with excitement for a long time for this....why is the JOMA badge there and massive???...why is our badge in the middle???...WTF is that white detail on the v neck collar???...looks nasty....rant over...I hope the rest of you like it because I for one think its awful....I'll still buy one though. I am not keen either because the badge is in the middle. Is this shirt for 1 year only as they will have to drop the 125 year anniversary round the badge so I am hoping when they just put a plain badge on this shirt next season they can put the badge to one side and the sponser on the other and I will buy one. My alliance leicester has a lot of stains now vanish dont work.
MC Prussian Posted 12 July 2009 Posted 12 July 2009 The shirt looks quality. Love the type of blue, nice and shiny. Also, the sizes seem to be well slim enough.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 12 July 2009 Posted 12 July 2009 Was in Skeggy at the weekend and saw some dude wearing one, looked smart but the dude needed a haircut! I was in Skeg, wearing a City shirt on that Saturday.
