I knew Ozzy was doing a final show, but I had no idea it was such a spectacle. I don’t mind Black Sabbath, but am quite partial to a fair amount of the supporting acts. Had I known, I’d have gone to this 💯 

Ticket prices were through the roof. 

 

I liked the ''all star'' bands they put together on the day too which added some novelty to the event.

Early Kasabian were so good, if an emerging band came out with this now as their breakout hit it'd be very well received - and it's just an album track

Back on original Linkin Park again now.

 

Just learnt that Faint uses a 6 second sample from ‘From Russia With Love’ and obviously is number 007 on Meteora too, very cool.

Decided it was time to stick Deep Purple - Made in Japan on. Being a massive fan, it's easy to forget just how incredible this album is. It's not for no reason that many regard it as the greatest live album ever issued.
