This must the best news Mahmoud Ahmedinijad could have wished for. He probably thinks MJ's death is Christmas come early. No media outlets and TV stations are focusing on Iran any more.

This is the biggest news story we've had for a couple of years - it's massive. People who deny this are forgetting what a massive star he was/is. The biggest star in world music of the last 30 years. Granted, the story would not be as big if it wasn't for the 2 o2 tour dates, but that's the nature of the beast

Obviously there's a lot of suspicion surrounding his personal life, but we have to remember he was found not guilty.

At a time like this (the immediate aftermath of his death) we should focus on the joy he brought so many people. It's probably not a massive exaggeration to say that he is the greatest musician of the last 100 years.

RIP, but I hope we move on from this story soon.

:D Well to be honest mate, John Lennon changed music by fooking writing it !! Micheal Jackson was a good dancer with a few good songs but he isn't nowhere near Lennon status.

Jackson was a icon in the 80's which to be fair wasn't great.

Lennon > Elvis > Jackson

When Noel dies he will go ahead of Lennon in my opinion.

To be fair Kareem, I normally agree with the things you say, but most who've said RIP on here are sad that a quite talented musician has died. I can't see anyone on here letting it take over their lives like that lot on the site you linked to.

I just want to know why, in a supposedly advanced society like the US, someone of that stature ("King of Pop") can die at the age of 50 (basically without anyone noticing, it seems)... Currently awaiting the coroner's report...

perhaps he died cause as a 50 year old he was having to flog himself to death to prepare him self for the residency at the o2 to pay his vast debts.so in a way its his fans what did it.

They're currently looking for a smooth criminal, and they're lead to believe he could be black or white and they're saying he's definitely bad and dangerous. They've got fingerprints off the wall and they say there was a man in the mirror, so he's got to be there. Police are appealing for Ben and Billie-Jean to come forward, but they don't want to be starting something and they're not gonna stop 'til they get enough because they've also found blood on the dance floor.

It's going to be a tough case, but they are saying they will beat it, and it's going to be a thriller.
