Wymsey Posted 19 April 2017 Posted 19 April 2017 It was alright in the earlier years since its arrival; able to 'chat' online in realtime, send family/friends messages if you don't have their number, decent games like Farmville and able to see if you know anyone via mutuals of current friends. But it just seems the same now and nothing really has appeared markedly different seeing it now compared to a few years ago imo.

The People's Hero Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 I've not been on in months and months BUT might start using it now since we have loads of stuff to sell/giveaway and apparently facebook/facebay whatever is the way forward for this.
Parafox Posted 20 April 2017 Posted 20 April 2017 I'm trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the Facebook principles. Therefore, everyday I walk down the street and tell passers by what I had for breakfast, how I feel today, what I will be doing and with whom. I give them pictures of my family, my dog and of me gardening, cooking an omelette, taking things out of the garage, watering the lawn and drinking a beer whilst standing in front of landmarks, as well as me having lunch and doing what everybody does everyday. I also listen to their conversations, give them a thumbs up, tell them I'm safe and that I like them. It works just like Facebook! I now have four followers: two police officers, a private investigator and a psychiatrist.

Seriously I wouldn't bother. Do a car boot, atleast you can punch anyone that offers a fiver for something worth £200.

Indeed we sold about £500 of kids stuff in local groups, from slides to buggys. I also bought a great outdoor sofa set for £100 from a guy round the corner.

Have you thought about giving it to freecycle? https://www.freecycle.org/
