Guppy Posted 30 November 2009 Posted 30 November 2009 I like the look of Acquafresca but he got injured and failed a medical when I tried to sign him, looking at Gignac now. I really need somebody clinical upfront with Iaquinta and Eduardo. I think i'm out of my depth managing Arsenal tbh, somehow last season I got knocked out of the Champions League by Fiorentina in the qualifying rounds, finished 4th in the Prem thanks to Chelsea and Everton both losing on the final day and had a nightmare in both domestic cups. I'm much better suited to lower league clubs with minimal budgets, I might just go back to my Accrington game where I got 2 promotions in 3 seasons without spending a penny and the board selling anyone to clear the ever-growing debts.

The Doctor Posted 30 November 2009 Posted 30 November 2009 started a new game as holland, played 17, won 15, draw 2, won the WC and top of my qualifying group for Euro 12. Scoring goals for fun : 49 goals scored, just 10 goals conceded.

Not even got him on throws surprisingly. Play him as MC in a 4-2-3-1 He's got 6 in 13 with 5 assists. Ive also got a young icelandic kid in one of the AMC positions called Arnor Smarason. 4 in 13 with 5 assists. Good times.

With a total of 53 confrence quality (or worse) players to chose from it certainly is a challenge - luckily I got two warm up games from the previous failed Euro Championships qualifying campagain. Slovina only beat us 2-0 but Serbia went to town and scored 7 to nil. World Cup Qualifying group - pits me against England at home (San Marino home that is) first game - hmmmmmmmm! Down side is that this prestigous job is getting in the way of my club role at Bath City, and the difficult job which is getting the club into league football, but with Billy Kee and Robbie Burns on board I'm sure we'll get to the promise land!

Gradel helped a lot to get me through that storm and now im working my way back up and am in second nearing the last ten games. Pearson just took over at Norwich, see if he can take them out of league 1.

I've even been given the Brazil job (took over in the Copa America semi-finals and won it). Should I start a new game (if so, who with?) or dominate the world?
