I spent summit like 50 mil on aguero when i was man city. Think that was the most I ever spent and my team was insane.

My squad was strong, My budget was 120 mill and I was selling last seasons poor performers earning me 20 mill... so I still had a bit to spend if needed. Need a 2nd keeper on loan, then im pretty much done for the season. Lets see how this goes.

Guppy Posted 17 December 2009 Posted 17 December 2009 I'm loving the new patch, started a game as Leicester for the first time and have won 8 out of 9 games, including a 6-1 win over PNE. I'm usually crap at this game with the odd bit of success, but everything is going well so far. I got knocked out of the league cup by QPR though losing 5-2, but I did play quite a few of the back up players. Signings: - Onyszko - Mifsud - Craddock (loan) - Adomah - Paul Scott - Edwards (loan) - Wilshere (loan - Arsenal are my parent club) - Ramsey (loan) Stand out performers: - Fryatt - 10 in 9 (3 assists) - Waghorn - 4 in 4 - Wellens - 2 in 9 with 7 assists - King - 4 in 10 Oh, and i've loaned Clemence out to Northampton for the season.

My Shrewsbury team I was doing so well with are taking a leaf from my Crewe team I had my first game with - Drawing every game at the moment.

Looks and plays decent, certainly more user-friendly than FM 09. Playing as Leicester and the pre-season schedule was an odd one. Drew 3-3 at home against Porto after being 3-0 down, but lost to the Berchin amateurs 3-2, 4-0 to Tottenham and drew 2-2 against Chester. And has anyone ever played against GH (Glenn Hoddle's) Academy? Season kicked off with a goalless draw against Swansea and a 3-0 win over Lincoln in the League Cup. Absolutely admire the new 3D goal celebrations. Battling with the budget restrictions. Only got two loanees in (Febian Brandy from ManU and Sunderland's Jordan Henderson). Can't buy a soul with only 10K available.

To be fair its carried on... and a front attacking 4 of Messi, Modric, Tevez, Adabayor helped. Im using a fluid, control, short passing, creative freedom with roaming and high tempo tactic. I tried to sign jonjo shelvey at the start of the second season but liverpool got him... anyway I bided to sign him from liverpool in second season january window... got him 16m... which is cheap considering he is quite clearly the main english wonderkid on the game... currently keeping a host of international midfielders out of my man city game with 6 assists and 2 goals in 3 starts.

Milan kindly gave me 3.4million to spend for the third season and seeing as Wednesday, Middlesborough and Norwich went down, I am trying to raid them for players. However, my only signings are Beevers (500k) and Luke Moore (Trial). First friendly, I beat the G.H.A 12-0 with Brandy scoring 5, Gallagher nicking 1, Wellens getting 2, Moore getting 2 and an own goal. Onwards and upwards hopefully but I need a new left winger, who to buy? - Jason Koumas rejected me to go to Swansea SWANSEA!
