john_lcfc Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 arsenal and west ham games both confirmed for the Tuesday on their OS's. Ticket allocation for millwall still to be announced.
Shrenchel Posted 13 August 2009 Posted 13 August 2009 arsenal and west ham games both confirmed for the Tuesday on their OS's. Ticket allocation for millwall still to be announced. Millwall were allocated 3,600 but the Met had a meeting tonight to discuss banning away fans completely. Decision to be announced tomorrow apparently. Don't really see why everyone is salivating about it be honest, If that's your thing, you could see far more lads knocking bits into each other down a city centre on a saturday night than what will actually be on show on the day. Couple of ****** in the pub tonight chatting about going London for it, why the fook anyone would travel all that way to watch a bunch of lads gesticulating at each from behing a police line is beyond me.
C-man Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 Millwall's away end will look fucking mental if they score though.

Bryn Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 For once I certainly won't be blaming the police for decimating the timetable if they have to, look at all the games that need playing! West Ham v Millwall will be ruff as owt. I reckon they'll encourage Sky or whoever the fook has the rights to televise it to keep some fans away and as an attempt to pacify any fans that can't get tickets, thankfully I reckon it's clearly the pick of the ties anyway. As has been said, might have to stick a game on Monday, and also I reckon the away allocation will be small, with a police-fan ratio of about 1:2. I reckon that 3600 allocation will get cut to about 2k, don't see them outright banning the away attendance.
RowlattsFox Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 I've heard that it can't be on sky because they are showing games on Monday and Thursday. West Ham play on Sunday so they can't play Monday and Millwall are playing Friday so they can't play Thursday, whether thats true or not I don't know. Also heard Millwall are having the whole lower tier at Upton Park.
Big Ol' Bob Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 Millwall wre given 3,000 allocation, but the met has only allowed 1,500! There is going to be a lot of trouble now seeing as though this will be both teams game of he season. (so far)

(so far) I've just been on the Westham site and it says Millwall have all the lower tier and Westham season ticket holders in both upper and lower tiers will be moved to different places around the ground. http://www.whufc.com/page/TicketNewsDetail...1754423,00.html
C-man Posted 14 August 2009 Posted 14 August 2009 Can't see much point in reducing the allocation really, just means more 'fans' won't get into the stadium leaving them to play nicely in and around London Bridge.
