Big Ol' Bob Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 2000 fans still at the tube station all kicking off, bottles and all sorts, coppers escorting about 100 millwall at a time to the ground, police helicopter above the ground too. and the ****s are 1-0 ahead...
Toby or not Toby Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Got to admire Jack Collison's courage in playing just two days after what happened. Good luck Jack, do your father proud!
Sparky Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Breaking news , man stabbed in Priory Road close to the ground

Jay Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 I live in hope that, in the year 2009, some of them may have finally evolved into human beings.. well it appears not bottles, bricks, a stabbing fighting going on for well over an hour it really is a disgrace in this day an age this sort of thing still goes on
Hugo Sanchez Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Stabbings, fook me. What abunch of ****** they are, the press are gonna have a field day with this now.
Fosse Boy Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 At the risk of sounding massively naive, surely an increase to the Millwall allocation would have gone a little way towards kerbing the idiocy that appears to be taking place tonight?
Toby or not Toby Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 What goes through the mind of these people I dont know, I would never go to a game against forest or derby thinking im going to stab someone today. Morons
Salieri Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 At the risk of sounding massively naive, surely an increase to the Millwall allocation would have gone a little way towards kerbing the idiocy that appears to be taking place tonight? This is clearly pre-planned violence, the football match is secondary. They're just animals masquerading as football fans.

I recognise that, but surely the numbers being bandied about with regards to the trouble coud have been cut if the police had decided to give Millwall the 3k they were originally supposed to get? There was always going to be violence, but if there were more Millwall fans allowed in the ground then perhaps it wouldn't quite have been on this scale.
Lillehamring Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 At the risk of sounding massively naive, surely an increase to the Millwall allocation would have gone a little way towards kerbing the idiocy that appears to be taking place tonight? well considering one of the two arrests was for 'breaching a control order', it sounds like there still would be trouble.... i'm guessing the control order was some kind of footy ban...
Fox92 Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 What goes through the mind of these people I dont know, I would never go to a game against forest or derby thinking im going to stab someone today.Morons I know, you go to the football for one thing... to watch the match. I never go to 'taunt' opposition fans or even take other things but knives.. that's out of this world man. Ridiculas and horrid. Collison playing after his dad died at the weekend as well...

Seriously doubt it mate. This was their big one, they'd have fought regardless. They probably weren't even that bothered about not getting a ticket.
weluv Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 what i worry about is that Millwall are gonna get seriously shitted on from high after this, but from what I've heard it's the irons 'fans' who have kicked things off. But will the FA have the bollocks to ban West Ham fans from travelling, or give them such a massive points deduction that they're guaranteed to go down? No, of course they won't.

Nothing wrong with taunting fans but thats slightly different to stabbing someone, the best away matches I had back in the day was where there was animosity in the air it was exciting especially compared to the dull plastic experience of todays games but these types of incidents are the reason uk fans have to endure the OTT rules inside stadiums.

It's a fooking huge difference!!

Spot on. Thats what made the corner in the kop at Filbert street so good. The atmosphere was amazing being so close to the away support and exchanging banter.
AjcW Posted 25 August 2009 Posted 25 August 2009 Its all gone off now... Both teams off the pitch. YYY is this not on tv
