Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Lee "he was absolutely outstanding" Dixon has grown on me, Warnock's always good comedy value when he's on, Lawrenson's alright as well for me.
Koke Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Andy Gray for me , Jason Cundy speaks a lot of sense also I agree. I find myself agreeing with Cundy quite often.
Koke Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 All the Soccer Saturday lot. Only thing I like about Sky, Stelling, Merson, Le Tiss, Charlie Nicholas even Thompson their all quality.Apart from them Hanson's the main one for me, rarely disagree with what he has to say. Absolutely. I love the whole panel. They make me chuckle time and time again. I quite like Charlie Nicholas in particular.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 4 September 2009 Posted 4 September 2009 Not Pleat, and not Andy Townsend. I dont like Hansen or Lawro much either as the are so biased towards Liverpool. Martin Keown is just a dick, cant stand Ian Wright, not bothered either way by Dixon. I thought Gordon Strachan was alright the other day on MOTD. But havent really got a favourite one.
The Blur Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Got be Stelling for me the guy who writes for Zoo/Nuts ( unsure), star in Countdown and appear on Soccer Saturday is special in my books
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Alan "absolutely rapes him" Pardew The BBC had to apologise for that. Anyone remember when Ron Atkinson got done for racist comments about Desially a while back?
Anorak Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Terry Gibson on La Liga. Absolutely hilarious."Weww Kevin, thassa byootifuww goaww fwom Affletico Madrid an' Raaaathing Santandaaaair 'av a lot tuh doo 'ere" Quality stuff. I used to really like Big Ron on ITV.
Bluefoxtim Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Got to be Andy Townsend - no doubt. Sorry, I didn't read the thread title properly. I thought it said "Favourite Pundit you would like to be seen brutually murdered".
ousefox Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Definately Alan Hansen IMO. Always knows what he is talking about.
Ultra Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Got to be Andy Townsend - no doubt.Sorry, I didn't read the thread title properly. I thought it said "Favourite Pundit you would like to be seen brutually murdered". I thought Garry Birtles had that nailed on..
Ultra Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Was quite impressed by John O'Neill (remember him?) while watching last night's Northern Ireland game..
Sparky Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Talking of Garry Birtles im convinced i saw him walking down Churchgate yesterday afternoon
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Definately Alan Hansen IMO. Always knows what he is talking about. He is so pro-Liverpool! Pisses me off when he is on England games for BBC when he isnt even English.
ousefox Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 He is so pro-Liverpool!Pisses me off when he is on England games for BBC when he isnt even English. But he is correct in nearly everything he says. Agreed it's the same with Alan Green commentating on five live for the England game on yesterday.
CosbehFox Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 Agreed it's the same with Alan Green commentating on five live for the England game on yesterday. and Andy Townsend's experience with Ireland when passing comment about England....or maybe just a good, long career at the highest division when passing comment about Premiership football. Love the NI boys, they get brilliantly carried away with a lot of humour and honesty.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 September 2009 Posted 6 September 2009 But he is correct in nearly everything he says.Agreed it's the same with Alan Green commentating on five live for the England game on yesterday. Hansen correct! Thats a joke. Does the phrase: "You cant win anything with kids" mean anything to you!? At least Alan Green is a good commentator! Rather just have Claridge. He talks sense and isnt all bigheaded as he was never a big name player.
Uncle Albert Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Merson is quality. The bloke can't even read! The soccer Saturday panel are all great, but I'm gonna have to go for Hansen. He's been there and done everything, and knows what he's talking about, says it how it is, and that's the way it should be! Damn right. Seeing as I love Sky, Andy Gray and Jamie Redknapp. Quality. Both great, Redknapp especially. I love Redknapp, aswell as knowing alot about football but he is a stylish guy aswell. Not a fan of Paul Merson, never liked him. Thommo and Kamara are brilliant. 'Payneeeeeeey'.
ousefox Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Hansen correct! Thats a joke. Does the phrase: "You cant win anything with kids" mean anything to you!?At least Alan Green is a good commentator! Rather just have Claridge. He talks sense and isnt all bigheaded as he was never a big name player. Good point! I did say nearly though
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Good point! I did say nearly though Yeah, well he still talks shite!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 Has Hansen's "you can't win anything with kids" quote actually been proved wrong, though? I'll probably be proved wrong, I just don't think it has.
Bryn Posted 7 September 2009 Posted 7 September 2009 I always find Alan Green entertaining. Hansen probably the most accurate. I think of the up and coming pundits Jamie Redknapp is pretty good.
