This actually works for me, was gonna have to miss it due to work but now I can do an early shift and drive up the M1 afterwards to make it in time. For once, cheers Sky

Same here. Thought I'd ending missing this with going back home for Chrimbo, but this gives me plenty of time. You haven't fecked me up this time Murdoch!

Still hope to go to this one.

Boxing Day matches are always a bugger to get to due to the lack of public transport.

Doesn't really make that much of a difference to be honest. There's no public transport that day, (at least i don't think so) so it's either walk or car and they'd be doing that anyway. Massive help to all them who will be driving to the game after a night on the alcohol, with getting alcohol out of the system and all that jazz.

It'll help people who are away at Christmas and can't get to the game, and like James said, we can watch Jeff then go to the game. Top Stuff.

And it's not like it is a MEGA disruption on people, not like they moved it to xmas day at 6pm, or xmas eve at 6pm. Reading and QPR I class as MEGA disruptions for away and home fans, moving the game back 3 hours as opposed to 2 days is more reasonable.

To be honest you've got to accept that some games are gonna be moved and as you say, this is surely about as UNdisruptive as it's possible to be.

In fact come to think of it, it could be a really unusual atmosphere playing at twilight on Boxing Day - don't remember ever experiencing that in the past, Winter evening games usually just mean pissing cold Tuesday nights against teams like Palace.

Should be good fun I reckon...

6pm on Boxing Day.

Thats a joke of a kick off time.

Thought you loved it when sky moved our games as it will benefit all those city fans who cant go......

Not overly bothered, probably suits me better tbh in the fact that on Boxing Day my family normally has a get together but I would have missed it to go to this game even prior to this KO change but now I can do both.

Even though it has changed for the good in my case, I'm just abit peeved Sky have got their way again (As if there was any dispute anyway ) and disrupted fixtures yet again.

We're playing Newcastle that day too and we've been moved for SKY. Sadly that will really affect our attendance for potentially one of our biggest games of the season. ;) I hope you go one better this time and stuff the Pigs at the Walkers.

Moan moan moan. Sounds like a great time to me. Spend the day eating turkey sandwiches, watching Jeff and drinking beer then go and watch some football.

Agree. The change benefits me greatly.

Indeed; the limited bus service usually finishes around 6-7pm on Boxing Day, so that means more people driving, more demand on parking etc. Not that Murdoch cares owt about that....

Taxis will probably be raking it in.

Don't know if it's still the same, but it used to be double fare on Boxing Day.

Whats the likelihood of Forest game getting moved?

Can't seem to see Decembers SKy schedule ..... but presume this one could be one that is picked for TV!

Already has been moved to 1 p.m. on police advice.

Nah some people are quite happy due to work arrangements.

But they still hate Murdoch/Sky :)

Sky games being moved for home games i'm not too fussed about to be honest.

This is an 'accetable' Sky re-schedule for once. And at least the Sheff Utd fans don't have to come miles and miles late on a boxing day as they're relatively close.

What are we doing so right to warrant all this live coverage? Anyone would think we are Newcastle United at this rate.

I'd love a Christmas Eve game, that would be lovely.

It makes no odds to me personally on this occasion, although the Dock had better be open beforehand. It's annoying though that Sky think they can just twat around with our kick off times and days. They own us and I don't like it.
