He will still be the best player techincally in the division and his footballing brain should mean he is able to sit infront of the defence and pull the strings.

Agree with this totally. He would be a great signing, can see other players upping their game if he came aswell. Alot of people, including myself have said that we have a good enough squad to compete at this level, we just need that star player/big name and I think we have found them in Davids.

I'm not expecting him to be shit off a stick, he's going to be slow, lazy and won't give a toss. The main thing here is that EDGAR DAVIDS will be playing for Leicester City. A global footballing icon in Leicester! How often do things like this happen? Just enjoy it, if it happens, great! If it doesn't, we had fun dreaming!

Super Arj Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 For one, you only need to look at his record (or youtube) to realise that he was an awesome player. he can take set pieces very well.. and to be honest.. they're shocking at the minute (we can't even take penalties properly) and its not for anyone on this forum to say whether milan mandaric can or cannot afford him.. he's not an idiot, and he won't pay silly money if he knows he can't.
