Tilley Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Davids will play the ball to DJ in the play off final against Forest in the last minute and Campbell will make himself a hero.
Jiggers the Fox Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Davids will play the ball to DJ in the play off final against Forest in the last minute and Campbell will make himself a hero. that would be too much to take in for me i think!
Legend_in_blue Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 And then tell me you still wouldn't want Davids in a Leicester shirt. Absolute footballing legend. Bring him in!
Benji Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 If he signs, Pound shops in Leicester are going to be stripped clean of orange lens glasses It should be a requirement for entry into the ground.
Finnegan Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Davids will play the ball to DJ in the play off final against Forest in the last minute and Campbell will spoon it into row Z.
Lillehamring Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 mandaric says deal to be done by weekend?! and that its not the widely reported 20k a week!http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/8317903.stm a very wry smile right at the end there. Np looked rather pleased with himself...
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 If we did sign him it wouldnt suprise me if the club start selling replica glasses in the shop for even more money.
Budweiser Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 If we did sign him it wouldnt suprise me if the club start selling replica glasses in the shop for even more money. As sad as it would be, I would buy a pair, for a reasonable price of course <_<
SMX11 Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 omg this must be important, its nearly as long as the Simon Cox thread
Uncle Monty Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 If he signs, Pound shops in Leicester are going to be stripped clean of orange lens glassesIt should be a requirement for entry into the ground. Hahahaha brilliant.
Guest MarshallForEngland Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Any Leicester fan who happened to have glaucoma and wore goggles long before speculation about Davids' arrival began will now look like a proper fan boy.
Thracian Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 And then tell me you still wouldn't want Davids in a Leicester shirt. Absolute footballing legend. Bring him in! Everyone knows that Davids has been an awesome footballer. Now, at 36 and with a year out of football behind him, I'd be amazed if he produced anything like that sort of form. And persuading his body to suddenly go through the demands of decent-grade football again might also be difficult. Look at Lee Hendrie when he came here on loan. Always injured and a waste of space in the end. Hasselbaink too was soon retired after being cited as coming here. I'd love it to work out but will be amazed if it does. Comebacks rarely end in smiles.

Either way it will create a lot of publicity at the club, it will fill another 1000 seats or more for every home game, and sell a lot of shirts. And if it all goes wrong and we are the laughing stock of the country again then who cares, we can just laugh at ourselves and get on with it.
Zingari Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 i think he could be just as successful as Sol Campbell at notts county
Collymore Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Was strange to hear Milan of Radio1 driving back! Worrys me a little, he was doing so well keeping quiet...

StanSP Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Surprised to read that he had been in talks with Edgar fooking Davids (following Babylon's advice ) for about 2-3 weeks. Think Milan, management team, Davids and his agent have done well to keep it quiet forthat long. That also adds to the thinking that it's likely to happen now that they have publicised it.
C-man Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Even if it all goes wrong we can't get any more laughing stock than Notts County.
James. Posted 21 October 2009 Posted 21 October 2009 Fuck it, life's too short to worry about little things like being a disruptive presence and too old. SIGN HIM UP.
