Russell352 Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Pros - Midfield players injured, we need him? He's quick and creative, something we lack a bit in my opinion? He can score quality last minute free kicks! Cons - I don't think he's played a full game for Leeds, is he fit enough? Can he hack it at this level? Perhaps too young, too inexperienced. Also I remember him being inconsistent. OOOooOooOOO decisions! Good article Here I'm saying bring him back =P

Good article Here I'm saying bring him back =P Only bring him back if he is going to have at least a place on the bench, otherwise let him stay at Leeds longer, it's not like we have a reserves side to play him in. I don't think we should sell him though.
StanSP Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Stay at Leeds. He might be doing alright there, but even with our lack of mids he won't go straight in. Maybe stay at Leeds til January - see what he does over the busy festive period. Plus, he won't always score free-kicks in the last minute!
Corky Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Only bring him back if he's going to be given a chance. There's no point him not even being on the bench here, let him play wherever it is. I'd like to see him come back.
Guest Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 'Oh Maxi, will you come back from Elland Road better? Cos we sent you away ohhhhh Maxi! Will you terrorise Plymouth Argyle? cos we need you today oh Maxi'
MPH Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 I have voted for him to stay at leeds longer BUT only because i want him to gain more first team experience, to then be ready to come back here and take up the right wing. We need a consistent right winger Is he that man?
Scow Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Bring him back - then send him out elsewhere on loan.
ousefox Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Bring him back. He deserves a chance to prove himself in the championship and if he doesn't he can go back on loan.
scinnell Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Give him a go till janurary then decide what to do
Daggers Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Can't get a starting place for a third tier team for a second consecutive season - the most over-hyped player we've ever had? Hmm...
Katy Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Hate to say it but he seems to be enjoying himself at Leeds so let him be, unless we really need him and he'll get in the side. Not happy with him being at Leeds but at least he's getting some games which he wasn't here.
Shrenchel Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Hate to say it but he seems to be enjoying himself at Leeds so let him be, unless we really need him and he'll get in the side. Not happy with him being at Leeds but at least he's getting some games which he wasn't here. Is it possible he could enjoy himself a bit too much though? He seems pretty enamoured with the club, the fans etc already. A few more months getting attached to sexy leeds with them whispering in his ear about how they'd like to sign him on a permanent and is he going to be willing to come back here to fight for a place in the team once Nige thinks the time is right?! If he's not then fvck him maybe, he's not the battler we need...but then again maybe a lot of other players would feel the same in his position. I heard Alex Ferguson is sometimes reluctant to let players he rates highly spend too long at one club in case they go native and he may be an arrogant, whinging, red-faced alcoholic, champagne socialist, scottish cvnt with an unemployed wife-beating piece of scum for a son but he seems to know a bit about football.

Fair point.
bluebeau Posted 12 November 2009 Posted 12 November 2009 Probably not possible, but I would like to see City sell Max to Leeds for say £1m & City buy Waghorn from Sunderland, they have apparently put a £2m pricetag on him. If you consider that City put in a £1.5m bid for Simon Cox ( who was never in the game last Sat. City v WBA), then Waggy is a steal at £2m If no deal, then we must keep Max, but the experience he is getting at Leeds will do him good & he will come back to City a better player?

Haha, I think Cleverly backs your point there. He's doing well at Watford, the fvucker.
Babylon Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Can't get a starting place for a third tier team for a second consecutive season - the most over-hyped player we've ever had? Hmm... The Leeds fans are starting to wise up about him now also. The comments we use to say about him are now flowing on their forums "inconsistent", "crap crosses", "never gets his head up", "frustrating", "infuriating", "from the sublime to the ridiculous in the blink of an eye", "more of a impact sub". To be fair you could say the same about all of our wingers though.

It could be said for a lot of wingers at all levels not just the ones at our club.
weluv Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 loan extended till january 2nd-official club text
StanSP Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 loan extended till january 2nd-official club text Then he'll come back to us - play a blinder and knock you out of the FA Cup, if you make it that far...
SMX11 Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 There should have been another option: "Stay on loan until Jan with a 24 hour re-call"
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Like to see him involved but TBH looks unlikely, so he is better off there than in our reserves.
Webbo Posted 14 November 2009 Posted 14 November 2009 OS Max Gradel’s Loan ExtendedLeicester City's Max Gradel will stay on loan at Elland Road for an extended period, it has been agreed between the clubs today. The winger is set to stay with Leeds United until January 2, subject to a 24-hour recall clause. Edit; already been done. Sorry.
