Daggers Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Nick, the poster on here who in real life is simply known as Nick. Because that's his name. Some of you may have met him, some of you may have appreciated his level-headed approach to issues which vex posters and some may have noticed he has a fine wit. He went under the knife today for an operation on his spine. Thinking of you mate
lou Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Only had the pleasure of meeting Nick once but hes a great contributor, all the best Nick and hope you get well soon x

Bert Posted 7 December 2009 Posted 7 December 2009 Top Man. Met him inadvertently in the pub across the road from my house not knowing he was a member on here. Tried beating me at pool, but failed. All the best in a speedy recovery.

Fosse Boy Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 A poster who speaks an inordinate amount of sense far too frequently for my liking. Best of luck.
Tommeh Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 Best of Luck Nick, top poster and a top bloke if my memory pre scunny at home last season is accurate.
Smudge Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 Having had two back operations I can empathize with anyone who has gone through that. I injured my back in 1982 and by 1998 I was taking oxycodine every two hours; a class 2 narcotic, I was in enormous pain. So when the spine fusion worked I can tell you it was the best thing that ever happened to me. Good luck Nick, speedy recovery!
Dr The Singh Posted 8 December 2009 Posted 8 December 2009 Good luck, hopefully we'll see you soon and have a beer together!!
