Tommy G Posted 10 December 2009 Posted 10 December 2009 Which he is, according to several sources I've heard. Well he didn't sound like he'd just graduated from cambridge when I was speaking to him. Maybe it was the sambuca? I will have to laugh a bit if he actually goes to prison for this
Guest Posted 15 December 2009 Posted 15 December 2009 yep crown court normally equals a custodian sentance You obviously don't spend a lot of time in the public gallery. I have seen more community sentences than custodial given out.

Guest Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 well hopefully...he will go down...and thats what he deserves What he's done deserves a custodial, it'll be interesting to see what he finally pleads.
Daggers Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 well hopefully...he will go down...and thats what he deserves Did I miss the news that he'd been found guilty by a jury of his peers?
MPH Posted 16 December 2009 Posted 16 December 2009 Did I miss the news that he'd been found guilty by a jury of his peers? your turning into a bit of a thracian on this one...
Ross-Kemp Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Please merge with other Mattock thread as i cant find it. Christmas eve, sat down the Rutland in Ayelstone having a beer or ten with a few friends, look outside the window, theres a mass gathering on the corner of Middleton street / Ayelstone road. Joe Mattock is in the middle of it shouting his mouth at a load of young lads, aggresive and threating behaviour, then one of the lads went to punch him and he ran an absolute fooking mile. Complete tosser.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 What a gimp. He must know Leicester fans hate him, So why does he persist to hang around in Leicester?
Ross-Kemp Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 What a gimp. He must know Leicester fans hate him, So why does he persist to hang around in Leicester? He still lives in Leicester. He did move away with some bird, but she fooked him off so he's back home with mummy
davieG Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 What a gimp. He must know Leicester fans hate him, So why does he persist to hang around in Leicester? Well he should be able to hang around his home town however much of a gimp he might be and those who choose to taunt and antagonise him are gimps as well. Not withstanding his potential court case as for the rest - it's only a game of football.
Matt Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 Well he should be able to hang around his home town however much of a gimp he might be and those who choose to taunt and antagonise him are gimps as well. Not withstanding his potential court case as for the rest - it's only a game of football. This. Despite my opinion of Mattock being a twat for what he did and the way he handled his move to WBA - Not that I think he was any huge loss really, just the way he handled the way he left is what disappointed me, and for what he did in the original kicking off even if people we're taunting him you don't hit girls. But, why should he move? why shouldn't he go out in Leicester where he comes from, was bought up, and has friends here? I can see why people wind him up but they are as much in the wrong as he is, and to call Mattock a gimp when likelihood is it was people that were winding him up and he was having his say back to them is abit silly really - Would you stand there and just take it? Personally if I was in his position, i'd move out of choice - Not really worth staying in Leicester with the aggro he recieve's, and if it's really true he lives at home with mummy I find that abit funny really...On his wage surely he's in a position to get a house of his own
Big Ol' Bob Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 People that knew Joe Mattock before he broke into the Leicester first team and his move to WBA will tell you he was a big headed, loud mouth, thick, brain dead twat of a man anyway....

Ross-Kemp Posted 26 December 2009 Posted 26 December 2009 So you have no idea what caused it, yet you blame Mattock? Mattock was the main source of the trouble, he was shouting and threating the lads, but as soon as some one went to punch him he shit himself. So yeah, I blame Mattock.

Do you know why he was shouting and threatening - maybe it was in response to them threatening him. Name me one person who wouldn't shit themselves and run if totally out numbered, in fact someone might assume that he was acting intelligently by doing so and thus avoiding further trouble. We can all try and second guess what happened but unless you were there from the start and saw how it happened you shouldn't be making judgements.

Complete tosser. I was in the lounge that night and it was one of his friends who got called a ni**er by a couple of lads that caused the trouble outside. You also can't blame the lad for moving on when a couple of lads get a plank of wood and smashed bottles and attack people. He's not that bad of a lad, my friend works on ward 27 which is a children's cancer ward and as a gift to one of her patients he hot a signed West Brom shirt as a gift too one of her patients.

Guest Posted 29 December 2009 Posted 29 December 2009 When is that by the way? The next hearing is the 18th Feb, I think, and my understanding is he hasn't entered a plea yet, so it will just be a 'plea and case management hearing' on that day.

Guest Posted 18 February 2010 Posted 18 February 2010 The day's arrived - although doesn't mention perverting bit. It was mentioned. From the Mockery Former Leicester City defender Joe Mattock appeared in court today, accused of attacking two men and two women in a nightclub brawl. The 19-year-old is also charged with offering money to one of the alleged victims afterwards. Wearing a dark grey suit and open necked shirt, he entered not guilty pleas to assault, causing actual bodily harm, to two men and a woman. He also denied assault by beating towards another woman. Mattock further denied doing an act tending, and intended, to pervert the course of justice by contacting a witness by phone and offering to pay money to one of the alleged male victims. The charges relate to an alleged incident at Liquid Envy nightclub, Churchgate, in Leicester city centre, on August 30 last year. Mattock, of Grove Road, Whetstone, spoke only to answer his name and enter his pleas during the 10-minute hearing at Leicester Crown Court. He was represented by barrister Stuart Driver QC. Judge Michael Pert QC adjourned the case for trial in August. Mattock, who was transferred from Leicester to West Bromwich Albion for an undisclosed fee last August, was released on unconditional bail. He has been capped five times by England under 21s. His brief is the same guy who defended Joey Barton, according to Google.

It will be a whole year after the event or does this usually happen?
