Apparently thats his misses. Was from this funny football blog, that said "Despite Being an ugly Dog shit footballer, he's managed to pull this".

We have some players who are not in the first choice for starting a game, but we'd be gutted if they went!! Sometimes a player just doesn't fit into a manager's plans, doesn't make him a bad player!

Regarding the OP, yes I can see why a lot of people were sceptical, we do get a ton of bullshit on here - but the OP shouldn't be so touchy! Thanks for the info though mate!

Fook me!!! Next thing you'll be telling me we've gone and sold Lineker...

From The Sun

LEICESTER have swooped to sign Ipswich defender Alex Bruce, 26, on loan for the rest of the season.

Surely we can get better loan players? If it's on loan we want Premiership players who are idling on the sidelines, not players from the same division as us.

I've always thought Bruce is absolute pony. I hope to be proved wrong, but he's not the signing i'd hoped for. Morrison and Hobbs were quality on Saturday and Brown, although is a liability at times, is hard to play against for some strikers. Pointless signing IMO.

Don't see how it's pointless, maybe if we were signing him permanently I'd agree but he's only coming on loan. With Tunchev out and Neilson struggling for form I welcome the addition of a centre and right defender, and I welcome it even more that it is just a loan to tide us over rather than lumping big wages on the likes of Martin Taylor.

I'd rather take a gamble on O'Neill or Parkes if we need cover.

Fair enough, but as everyone else is going to bash Bruce on probably the back of maybe once they've ever seen him play, then based on the 45 minute display I saw of O'Neill against Sheff Utd, then we're in big trouble if we need to use him.

Seen him play loads of times, remember one particualr game where we beat Ipswitch 3-1, he was diabolical.

Agreed.

I know everyone is slating him, and although the Ipswich fans are not keen on him, surely he'll be ok for what he is coming to do and that is to cover for our current defence, isn't it?

Lets judge him after he has played for us.

[even if he cant get infront of Damien Delaney and Gareth McAuley...]

Has this actually been confirmed officially yet?

Are you seriously expecting something from the OS before 5PM? :frusty:
