Jimothy Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 England team for tonight. Hart, Jones, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Walcott, Barry, Parker, Young, Bent, Rooney Out of position debutant, ahead of Walker and Richards. Makes sense Fabio!
Father Ted Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 England team for tonight. Hart, Jones, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Walcott, Barry, Parker, Young, Bent, Rooney Out of position debutant, ahead of Walker and Richards. Makes sense Fabio! Gary Cahill I swear he's only in the team because Owen Coyle hypes him up all of the time! Would have been better putting Jones at centre back and Walker at right back.
Corky Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 England team for tonight. Hart, Jones, Terry, Cahill, Cole, Walcott, Barry, Parker, Young, Bent, Rooney Out of position debutant, ahead of Walker and Richards. Makes sense Fabio! Haven't you heard all the raving about Jones this season?
leicesterisme Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 England team for tonight. I like Cahill, but I'd have started Jones at CB then Walker at RB.
Jimothy Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 Haven't you heard all the raving about Jones this season? Hope you're being sarcastic. Jones will be a great player, he's good now. But he's not a right back, and shouldn't be used as one when you've got two available.
MC Prussian Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 WE'RE SHIT AND WE KNOW IT. 1-0 down to Wales. Pathetic.
The Doctor Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011  Bet finners is loving this, his side are slightly less shit than they thought. The big match is tomorrow mind - we visit Lichtenstein.
Finnegan Posted 7 October 2011 Author Posted 7 October 2011 Just glad to see some of our best players actually in the side instead of sitting out through "injury." I've said for ages we've actually got a reasonable side on paper if it'd just gain a bit of organization and confidence. It's all well and good saying it's "pathetic" to be two down to Wales, but who the fuck have Switzerland got that's anywhere near Bale or Bellers?
The Doctor Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 yes! **** you Czechs, **** you - 2-0 down and a man sent off.
MC Prussian Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 2-0 now. And England are only 2-1 up right now, which means we can say goodbye to second place and to Poland/Ukraine. We didn't deserve to qualify, anyway. Mainly because we're utter crap. There's no courage in this side, no concept, no leader figures, no real goalscorers (except for Shaqiri, maybe). Just a bunch of wannabe-footballers. Embarrassing. Oh so embarrassing. I want to get rid of Ottmar Hitzfeld so desperately. The guy has managed to turn a promising football side into a sheer mess. Living off his laurels as a world-class club manager, but has only brought us misery as far as the football style is concerned.
Webbo Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 Terrible 2nd half but at least we've qualified. If Rooney misses more than 2 games is it worth taking him?
Dabizas Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 I may be stupud but why are they celebrating like that?
The Doctor Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 I may be stupud but why are they celebrating like that? They're bonkers ass eastern Europeans - and they've got a play-off spot after only 5 years of independence?
BlueSi13 Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 Well we qualify for Euro 2012 without ever looking like anything more than breathtakingly average, despite the individual quality we possess. To have failed to beat an absolutely shit Montenegro side twice is ****ing criminal in my opinion.
New England Fox Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 Cos they are guaranteed a play off place now cos the Swiss lost.
Webbo Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 I may be stupud but why are they celebrating like that? They (Montenegro) have qualified for the play offs.
BlueSi13 Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 They're bonkers ass eastern Europeans - and they've got a play-off spot after only 5 years of independence? They will get pumped in the play-offs guaranteed.
The Doctor Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 They will get pumped in the play-offs guaranteed. Possibly - but it's quite an achievement after such a short time.
purpleronnie Posted 7 October 2011 Posted 7 October 2011 Because they got 2nd place. Typical england really, rarely impress, if Montenegro can outplay us like they did in the 2nd half and wales outplay us at wembley, boy can you imagine what will happen when we play a top team....I guess I know what will happen we'll come home and it will all be the managers fault again.
