If they were Asian soldiers, something would be done about it. Before anyone says, "well, there are Asians in our army", check the percentage, because it is a fraction of less than 1% . They come here to live, and want their entitlement, but how many would fight for this country? Oh yeah, and a bunch of drunk wasters running around abusing them and their beliefs will encourage them to do just that?? The EDL are nothing more than cancer on our country. Every religion in my eyes has flaws, I could sit here and list each one, whether it be Christianity, Judaism,Islam, hinduism or sikhism...each one has a con in it which people have fallen for. However, if people want to follow it and do it peacefully (which the vast majority do.) then live and let live.

Don't be ridiculous. I have respect for the armed forces (and the emergency services, for that matter.) I have respect for anyone who puts themselves in a dangerous or conflict situation for the perceived 'greater good' - I am WOEFUL under threat of violence - but that doesn't mean I'm going to give every soldier my admiration by default. It's a job, a profession, and they chose to go. My thoughts are with the families of anyone who has suffered a loss before it was due and that includes the armed forces, I have no less sympathy for the mother of a fallen soldier than the mother of a cancer child. But I don't have any more sympathy, either. What bothers me is that the ruling classes use the media to imprint this patriotic, even jingoistic, idea of greatness on our soldiers so that it becomes almost blasphemy to question the war they're fighting. Because should you do so, you're made out to be questioning the soldiers themselves - this view isn't fair. The blame should always fall on the politicians (and generals) who send them there in the first place, the people in absolutely no physical danger to begin with. It's them that we mean to question and with absolute due cause. If it wasnt for our troops we'd be being attacked left right and centre. The Taliban would be trying to take over and everything. lol Why am I even bothering?

Nobody's suggesting we dissolve the armed forces entirely, regardless of whether or not we launched a "pre-emptive strike", no modern army - let alone a rag-tag collection of militias - is going to launch a full-scale, old-world invasion of the United Kingdom. That said, if it weren't for our country's foreign policy and trigger-happy deployment of our military force it would be interesting to see how much of a target we actually were. The police and security services do far more to defend this country from "modern warfare" than the armed forces these days.

There's really no point in talking to you about this as you've been too strongly indoctrinated. As I and Finners have previously said, if we are a target it is OUR FAULT due to previous and current foreign policy.
