hackneyfox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 I would have snapped him up before Saturday. Probably still would. He could be that missing piece

Guppy Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 if he goes anywhere it will probably back to WBA Di Matteo added that there have been no further developments in the Baggies' attempt to bring Wigan midfielder Jason Koumas back to The Hawthorns on loan."We work 24 hours, seven days a week to try and bring the right players in, but it's not easy," said the Italian. "The emergency loan market is obviously a difficult market. "The good players are difficult to get because they would be either playing or on the bench in their teams and the others you question whether they're good enough to make an impact for your team."
Mort Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Would still take him at the drop of a hat... WBA would no doubt be his first choice, but we could be in with a shout and a bit of creativity in the middle of the park is something we've certainly lacked.
dandannieldanok Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 I'd take him but that would mean dropping one of Wellens, Oakley or King which isn't ideal. He wouldn't come here to sit on the bench.

Fox92 Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Another player I have always loved and wanted to see in a Leicester shirt. Would be great...
Tony Pine Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 i thought oakley was quality on satdy some great touches and link up play

He wouldn't come here to sit on the bench. lol as if you'd play any of our midfield above Koumas. I know I'm biased but don't be ridiculous, once he got up to match fitness he'd piss this league. Also keep in mind he'll play on the wings, too. Must be said though that this is likely complete bollocks and he'll never come. I would lock or delete this myself but having stated an opinion it seems like a bit of a kop out to then close it. If another mod wants to then go right ahead.

I would play the three midfielders I mentioned over Koumas. How long has it been since Koumas has done anything of note? Talented yes but consistent....never. And I'm sure full-backs will be terrified with Koumas charging at them.
ousefox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Would love him to come here but doubt it will happen if WBA are after him and we haven't been mentioned with his name recently.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Please Please Please Please! he is quality!
Finnegan Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 I would play the three midfielders I mentioned over Koumas. How long has it been since Koumas has done anything of note? Talented yes but consistent....never. Wonderfully consistent in the Championship with Cardiff, never quite made the step up - I'm happy to admit that. Big fish in a small pond, he likes that, he'd work well here. And I'm sure full-backs will be terrified with Koumas charging at them. Should be, skilful midfielder capable of putting in pinpoint crosses. You're not daft, dan, but you're painfully obtuse at times.
sdb Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 excellent at this level but we wont go for him and there are at least 2 or 3 clubs here that he'd prefer. He'll be at Cardiff or WBA within a few days.
Ozwin Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 WBA need to piss off and stop buying/loaning everyone. Their midfield is good as it is anyway.
Corky Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 Always rated him, would be a very good addition.
Cat Burger Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 10 in 34 at international level? Those goals are worth double considering it was a pissant country like Wales he scored them for. Quality player, he's twice the threat Wellens and Oakley are as he'd add that long range weapon, the right peg.
Lisburn Fox Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 I'd take this bloke on loan in a shot and so should NP.
Guest ttfn Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 He's supposed to be trouble. Booze, women, the lot. Not worth upsetting the apple cart.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 He's supposed to be trouble. Booze, women, the lot. Not worth upsetting the apple cart. WE SELL APPLES???
Daggers Posted 16 February 2010 Posted 16 February 2010 He's supposed to be trouble. Booze, women, the lot. Not worth upsetting the apple cart. S'right. Fortunately we've always been able to steer clear of those types and long may it continue...

Jimmy Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 IF Kousmas was to come here we'd probably play this system Wellens King Gallagher Oakley Koumas which would be better then any of the other options we have on the wing Dyer and NGuessan are far too inconsistent and Adams appears to be views as a squad player at best, the fact we had Adams come back instead of extending his loan would lead me to believe Kousmas ain't coming so all of this is pointless anyway
