I'm intrigued to know what he exactly said to offend Nigel.

Me too. I still don't know what Levi Porter did.

Really? If you see me tomorrow, ask me.

lol neither do I!

As for Stringer, I think Pearson is probably more pis sed at the fact that Stringer kept sharing inside information to the world on his twitter page - press conference details, players out injured, possible new signings, team news etc.

I know that sort of info is great for the fans, but effectively Stringer was using his position to disclose information to the public before it should have become public knowledge.

Thats better than Charlie Dagnall, great guy but he supports Burnley!!!!!!!!!

And has the most grating voice ever known to mankind.

My guess he'll calm down, have a think, then intravenously inject some humility into his eyes, get down on his knees, say his sorry and be forced to swallow whatever Nigel offers him in retort and he'll be back in the media room next week.

this gave me the most distrubing mental picture ever.

No Stringer doing commentary today for RL. Read into that what you like...

Sinclair is awful, I get no idea of what's happening at the game through his commentary "he plays into Howard and erm he turns and lifts it over... is it? and it's deflected. is it? it will be a goal kick"

I think people need to understand radio journalism before they say anything about Stringer.

I know first hand what happens and the club does not divulge information to ANYONE if they dont want it to get out. The fact stringer twitters stuff is simply a case of him getting the information out first over other sources.

This information would NOT be told to anyone outsid ethe club in confidence. They simply do not operate that way, least not to a journalist.

Before someone belittles me for the comments, i must state that these are facts and not opinion.

Quite correct. If the club didn't want it released, Stringer wouldn't know about it. If someone tells him something NP doesn't want out, that's that persons problem, not Ian's.

The lack of Stringer on Mondays commentary perhaps explains why my judgement of the first half differed so much to the post match reports.

While i was listening it felt we were pretty much in control of the game and deserved to be 2-0 up.. reading the reports we struggled for a good half hour.

My listening powers?... or poor commentary?

Although to be fair, live chat was involved in some important discussions about curtains etc ;)

So is he definitely not coming back then or what? Thought his commentary was crackin considering the standard you get on local radio normally to be honest, dissapoinitng if he's not. Can't really understand what's gone on, all the explanations just sound really petty. Mustve Steve Walshed Person's wife or something to actually get the boot surely.

are RL really scared to tell us whats going on with stringer or are they to scared incase they upset nigel again got to admit stringers commentary was usually quite good & very passionate & said it how it was be a shame if he has been sacked over something petty has he not said anything on his facebook or twitter sites??

Surely it can't be cause of him revealing Dyer's fitness for WBA game. That's someone elses fault surely, cause the news would have had to leave LCFC for it to get to RL so someone at LCFC is at fault for that.

If you mean QPR i'd say it was you and not them (sorry). I was listening and we hardly seemed to get a kick of the ball, the commentators didn't say we were poor, but none of our players were getting mentioned and all the chances were theirs (except two - the goals).

I seen Stringer at the Walkers on Monday. He was there with a mate like. It did not look like John Sinclair!

Didnt have the bottle to ask him whats happened! Thats as far as my stalking goes!

Personally, i like Stringer. He's passionate, excitable and most importantly, a fan. I want a bias comentry from him when i listen to RL! I can't afford to get to many away games, and i think he is fantastic to listen to!

agreed, I quite like stringer he is passionate.

hopefully he'll be back soon.

"du du du du bring back Stringer"

Hope he is on holiday and hasn't been suspended. I thought a LCFC sports commentator would take his holiday when the seasons finished :dunno:

You'd think so and unless he's gone to Skeggy he did pretty well to nip back to the Walkers on Monday.
