I know Oscar lives in a bin but it's logical to think the muppets bought him a new home so he doesn't need the bin anymore.

I get it now, I couldn't see Oscar in the bin so I didn't get the joke.

They bought him a proper house but he still lives inside a bin in the house.

 

More of a nod to acknowledge what the joke was about than actually finding it funny.
