Thai consortium eyes deal to buy Leicester for £39mA consortium headed by Thai business tycoon Vichai Raksriaksorn is in talks to buy Leicester City. BBC Radio Leicester understands that the group is planning to take an initial 49% stake in the club. That would leave current owner Milan Mandaric in overall control of the Championship club for the time being. Raksriaksorn's King Power duty free company are to become the Foxes' new shirt sponsor as part of the deal which values the club at £39m. His daughter Voramas Raksriaksorn, King Power's creative and communications director, told the Bangkok Post that negotations are ongoing. She said: "All the rumours about the Leicester City Football Club will be cleared up very soon." Pretty much confirms everything. As for Stringers pic, I think they may be using that style of sponsor - but on the proper kit and not the £5 market kit he's applied it to!

Babylon Posted 6 August 2010 Posted 6 August 2010 I could have picked out loads of quotes but the reason that KIA stopped posting was because of a Mercury incident and subsequently threw his toys out of the pram not because people drove him away. Not for the first time if I remember. The quote above is from a moderator too and what he wrote is no different from what Rocky Dennis wrote. Seems strange that Babylon was not vilified in the same way as he has been. This is not a dig at Babylon either as I agree with what he wrote at the time. Just find it amusing that people did not have a go at him for that yet choose to pick up on another member voicing an opinion. Sorry, but what the heck has what I wrote there got anything to do with anything? How are the two related as at no point in there am I demanding KIA shared his information with us. All I have said is that it's his own fault if he gets in trouble for posting information, which it is. And that's why I defended Berts right to hold things close to his chest.
