Because it could get his contact in trouble most probably, or maybe he'd rather not have a barrage of abuse if it didn't come off. These things are never 100% until signed and sealed.

They can fall by the wayside right until the last moment, and when they're definite that's pretty much when they get made public anyway

Surely the only thing that matters is whether it unduly affects the income derived from it, I'm Mandaric and Hoos are astute enough to have taken that into account. I'm also sure when it's announced they'll be a host of "WTF not them, it looks awful, why can't we have some one decent" type of comments, with only a tiny minority actually being satisfied with it.

If chang turn up on the front of our kit itl be interesting for sure. There's also the people that are interested in the asthetics and get upset when our kit has an average company on the front, because theyre worried about getting bullied by armchair Man U fans.

I think your right davieG, the only thing that would concern me as you've pointed out would be the significant income. However, if our new best thai friends company are sponsoring us then surely they wouldn't announce anything to do with the sponsor until everything is signed, sealed, delivered??!! Which may still be a few weeks. Also, as Bert has said there's a good chance no-one wil have heard of the sponsor, so i think if people are hoping for it to be a big named sponsor they may well be a little dissapointed. Don't mean to sound like a voice of doom, but i've supported the city for too long to get overly excited about takeovers and sponsorship deals.
