The time for us to win a trophy was under Sven and now we are no where as near as good as what we could have been. Disagree. Svens lot were individually talented, but not as much as made out by the media. They also couldn't play as a team. A bit like Leicester when Sven was in charge come to think of it! Call me mad but I'd leave Gerrard, Terry, Lampard and Rooney behind. They're not hungry enough. Is much rather see a three pronged attack of young sturridge and welbeck. Did anyone know that sturridges' uncle is dean sturridge?

Well it's not, If I was going for an anti-England standpoint I'd've said you're ridiculously crap, produce "talent" that could be compared to throwing a net into lidl and then putting whatever you catch onto the pitch, and mentioning the ridiculous hyperbole and arrogance the media spreads. You are a decent team, I'd rather be in your position than ours at the moment, no question, but that's it. You'll usually get through the group stage of any tournament, but you're not likely to trouble the latter stages of either the Euros or the WC any time soon. As for the youth production, what are you actually churning out? The likes of Smalling, Cleverly, Jones - could be worse, but for the money going into the game, for the interest it holds in this country, you really should be producing far better.

For the standard they should be at - England are shit. They are because there are no divisions in international football. We go through the exact same qualification process as Andorra. Of the 50+ European nations, England are probably top 5. Of the 200+ nations in the world, England are top 10. Not bad for a country that is supposedly "shit" at football.
