jimmer Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 It will happen all over again if we get rid of capello, as soon as we start losing it will be the managers fault. I dont understand why people dont see whats really wrong. Its weird. Besides from what I could see as a complete lack of desire to play for their country.......care to enlighten us?
Wymsey Posted 12 July 2010 Posted 12 July 2010 Got really pissed off when a newspaper caught Aaron Lennon smoke a cigar! Seemed very relaxed. Basterd!
marbelladave Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 Got really pissed off when a newspaper caught Aaron Lennon smoke a cigar! Seemed very relaxed. Basterd! Amusing... But the real issue is how and why he got to SA overweight and not properly fit after his injury layoff... Did Capello not see this in training before the final squad selection? Huddlestone has always had weight issues and despite a decent season looked bulky and lethargic in his appearances in the warm up games, is 'Arry feeding them too many pies?
Filbert_Ross Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 I never want to see Lampard, Gerrard, Terry, Wright-Phillips, Heskey, Beckham, Carragher, Ferdinand ever play for England again. Im sure ive probably missed a few more out but im fed up of seeing these bums play with no ideas, no pace and look like every match is a big struggle to get the ball from A to B. Theyve all been on the international scene for long enough and proved there not up to it. let down after let down. Im glad im not that patriotic and Leicester means so much more to me than this 'Golden Generation' crap.
purpleronnie Posted 13 July 2010 Posted 13 July 2010 I wouldnt care if england started to look further down the premiership table for players as long as they can pass and move with pace.
marbelladave Posted 14 July 2010 Posted 14 July 2010 I wouldnt care if england started to look further down the premiership table for players as long as they can pass and move with pace. Sadly the sponsors, the FA and the TV companies would, very much so!... The dominance of club over country is now so dominant that the selection of the 'right' players is now all important, far more so than the performance of the England team. The dominance of the Sky/Big4 is such that the England team has to include a large proportion of players from those clubs as that is what the fans/media/sponsors want to see. The money now follows the players, not 'Team England', can you imagine the outcry from all and sundry if an England team was selected without the inclusion of 'Wazza' or 'Stevie G'?
Wycombe Fox Posted 14 July 2010 Posted 14 July 2010 Farcical Rankings Unbelievable! Capello's Cocks will actually think they did OK 7th best team in the world????
Leicfox Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 The start of a new era for England. So I've bumped this thread, just in case.
Guest shearfox Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Pearce should never manage another England game again, what was he thinking picking that team tonight.
Bugg Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Pearce should never manage another England game again, what was he thinking picking that team tonight. It's not even a bad team selection, get a grip.
Phube Posted 29 February 2012 Author Posted 29 February 2012 You know... I can't even remember why I started this thread...
ScouseFox Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 You know... I can't even remember why I started this thread... Because England are shit

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Australia are better, atleast we won last night
Yojoe36 Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 Australia are better, atleast we won last night Who?
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 We dont have enough quality any more, just a lot of very average players. The time for us to win a trophy was under Sven and now we are no where as near as good as what we could have been.
Neil_LCFC Posted 29 February 2012 Posted 29 February 2012 No world class players just average players on world class wages.
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 This flatters England a lot. http://www.fifa.com/worldranking/rankingtable/index.html
Lovejoy Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 Thought the Dutch looked far more potent in attack than us. However they shouldn't have let such a lead slip, and with Germany losing to France, questions definitely raised about a couple of the favourites last night. As for England, well who knows what we'll do in the summer. Concentrating until the final whistle would be a start.

As soon as we equalised, I immediately thought we'd concede a last minute goal. It was too predictable.
Corky Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 The worst thing was that you could see it coming. As soon as we equalised, I immediately thought we'd concede a last minute goal. It was too predictable. I thought we'd done enough. But Holland are a fine team, so it's no disgrace.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 England are not shit. Andorra are shit. England are actually one of the top nations in European and world football.
Finnegan Posted 1 March 2012 Posted 1 March 2012 England are not shit. Andorra are shit. England are actually one of the top nations in European and world football. Andorra aren't really part of the debate, are they? They're a non-entity on the scale of professional football. For the standard they should be at - England are shit.
