City Lad Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Get a defender, right midfield and striker and we should have a pretty immense side imo. Weale Morrison Hobbs -------- Berner ------- Wellens King Dyer Waghorn --------
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 A centre back. A Right midfielder/winger Rickie Lambert
Leicester_Mad Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Drogba has been quoted in the M.E.N. as saying he is gutted not being able to play many games under Sven due to his injury at the World Cup and would relish the chance to drop down a league to show what might have been...
Ricey Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Right winger (similar style to Dyer) Goalscorer (who doesn't want one?) Right-back (I don't trust Neilson and Lamey)
Petchy Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Heskey... but unfortunatley for us Houllier is bringing out the best in him now, which we all knew he was capable of!
Simmo86 Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Heskey... but unfortunatley for us Houllier is bringing out the best in him now, which we all knew he'd be capable of! According to some people on here, Heskeys no better than Steve Howard!!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 According to some people on here, Heskeys no better than Steve Howard!! He's no Trevor Benjamin!
talkfoxes.com Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Peter Whittingham would be a good signing, I'd like also to see Michael Johnson from Man City, & just maybe Ricardo Fuller. Players to go Matt Oakley & Logan.
m00nie Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 michael johnsons name keeps coming up but he only played 4 league games in 2 seasons with being ill and injured..
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 michael johnsons name keeps coming up but he only played 4 league games in 2 seasons with being ill and injured.. Get him in on loan - agree a future fee now = happy days, if he's shit he goes back ,if he's good we don't get the price jumped up on us.
Fox You Forest Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Peter Whittingham would be a good signing. Yeahhh! be a cracking signing!!!!!!
Trav Le Bleu Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Whittingham's just signed a contract extension, can we let that one go please. How about Guy Whittingham?
dorsetfox Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 tbh i would like to see abe given a run in the team i am sure this guy will come good when he is settled. as for strikers i cant see why fryatt and waghorn cant do the job as they did last season i think maybe a very good right back , a centre back and a right winger thing is with a lot of midfielders you cant fit them all in so something has to give do you play a 4-4-2 with dyer, wellens, king and new right winger leaving abe out or replace abe with wellens ? and if you bring in a big man up front do you go with fryatt or waghorn
singinpete Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Kris Commons (Baaaaa)???? Wayne Routledge??? pretty sure theyre both in longish contracts tho kieran dyer, best player in a west ham shirt everytime he plays.
Salieri Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Right midfielder is essential, someone like Jobi McAnuff. Another CB wouldn't go amiss, particularly if Tunch doesn't end up back soon. A striker in the Howard mould too. It's quality we need, not quantity, i'm sure a few players will get shipped out in January.
Benji Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 We need a right sided midfielder, someone who can open a team up like Chris Eagles or Adel Tarabat. It's unlikely we could get either of these players, but there are others equally as good, if not better out there that we could get. Every time I watch him play I think how much I'd love him to be at the club. He always seems to hit the woodwork with long range belters too.
conradno1 Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Every time I watch him play I think how much I'd love him to be at the club. He always seems to hit the woodwork with long range belters too. imo id like to see someone who hits the net not the woodwork but being seriouse eagles or knightly would be quality cudichini/given either would do not to fussy. and maybe a right back who can defend and attack and i didnt say moses for the winger
GLC Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Kris Commons (Baaaaa)???? Wayne Routledge??? pretty sure theyre both in longish contracts tho kieran dyer, best player in a west ham shirt everytime he plays. expires end of season
The Doctor Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 Rafael Van Der Vaart or someone of similar quality - he was only £8m in the summer Is this someone to replace Dj for getting caught offside all the time? wrong inzaghi F.uck Off. How about Vladimir Weiss, Carlos Vela and William Gallas on a free. I suppose old DB can come in too if he really wants to Darren Byfield? Thought he'd've retired by now.
Finnegan Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 I swear if one more person earnestly suggests Whitt, I'm going to cry.
Bugg Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 How about Whittingham? He'd be a great player for us
conradno1 Posted 5 October 2010 Posted 5 October 2010 wittingham wont come for several reasons 1. cardiff are going up and were not 2. all the cardiff players hate leicester (apparantly) 3. might be wrong think hes just sighned a four year deal
