Albums you haven't listened to for ages but then when you do listen to them you wonder why you didn't listen to them for ages

Don't think I'd given this a proper chance the first time I heard it.

AM 180 has to be one of the greatest songs ever.

Is it just me that struggles to re-listen to old favourite albums?

Not really, some albums age well some don't, tastes change, plus you may have listened to certain albums so much your bored with them.

I do sometimes get old albums out but I prefer to listen to something new.

But like title to this thread, every now and again you play something special you've forgotten about.

Girl From Mars popped up on my Spotify and so I had to take a stroll down Memory Lane. My favourite album when I was 15.

Same! (The 15 year old bit). Not a bad track on that!

Defo. Me and my mates used to go nuts listening to Lose Control. What a track to open with!

Vivid memories of arguing, about age 14, with a classmate over whether or not Ash - Trailer was a punk record (it's not.) lol

Strange thing to argue about but, man, when you're that age and the NME is your Bible then genres ****ing matter.

lol

The Small faces first 2 albums were both entitled "Small Faces"

The second of these, on immediate records is the one between their pop/mod era & their psychodelia period.

Marriot, Lane, McLagan, & Jones at their finest.

Superb record and it's being reissued soon apparently. Will get it on vinyl if so.

Love The Verve.
