Extreme case yes but every job has it's benefits and it's pitfalls. More to the point, who is anyone on here to belittle anyone elses aspirations or job? Just because you have free speech doens't mean you should say evrything you think all the live long day. Not to mention it'd shit if everyone had the exact same aspirations and did the same job.

ajthefox Posted 12 December 2010 Posted 12 December 2010 not sure if you're playing devils advocate or not but thats not really what I was getting at, just using that as an example of where religous studies could come in handy. I personally am not religous and find a lot of religous people baffling, but religion is part of our society whether we like it or not and if someone wants to study it than that's fine by me. I study architecture and for me it's a massive part of peoples lives both consciously and subconconciously, but if someone else thinks it's a stupid thing to study then that's their perogative. I have my reasons and if they don't see them then they can study something else.

Neither can really be taught, your either good or your not and unless your gunna become a teacher you really don't need a degree in those subjects to be successful in those fields.

Pretty much BS mate. To get into the Fashion industry you need a degree in the subject.
