Simmo86 Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 O'Hara going Wolves according to his Mrs Twitter
Jon the Hat Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Off topic but whats a jib? The only thing that comes to mind is a sail but i doubt the saying is about a sail. That is exactly where the saying comes from.
Nick Posted 29 January 2011 Posted 29 January 2011 Anybody know what time the window shuts on the 31st? Is it 5 pm or midnight.... they seem to change it each year - usually when the 31st is a sat/sun I think. Please reply with a link rather than a random gut feeling. Ta, N.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Mentioned it before in this thread, Elliott Bennett from Brighton has now handed in a transfer request. Would love Sven to bits if he brought him in.
Stadt Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Micah Richards? He wouldn't want to drop down a divison.
LCFC_15 Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Anthony Pilkington from Huddersfield Town, only 22 years old. Worth a player. Playing superb against Arsenal.
mickydeeeuk Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 He wouldn't want to drop down a divison. That may or may not be true, was just an idea of a player i had that isn't getting much game time this season (3/4 appearances for man city this season?) that Sven would have worked with before& obviously with the relationship we seem to be building with man city (the Sven-mancini love in) might be someone we might be able to get in on loan, whether or not he would want to drop a division is pretty much irrelivant, these loans are a benefit to both parties in that the player gets to retain match fitness & the club get the benefit of the extra quality the player would possibly offer. Sven was looking for a defender and Richards can play centre back & also would give extra cover in the right back position. In saying all this I don't think we will get him nor do we particularly need him , just that after missing out on Curtis, Sven might still be in the Market for a defender.
Criggers Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Thought man city rejected a Chelsea offer for Richards not long ago?
mickydeeeuk Posted 30 January 2011 Posted 30 January 2011 Thought man city rejected a Chelsea offer for Richards not long ago? I should stress there is nothing what so ever in this at all & I have no inside knowledge regarding this, nor did I overhear a conversation in between bernie & the birch in morrisons (other supermarkets are available.) but.... rejecting an offer from someone means one of two things with regards to a player in Micah Richards position: 1) the offer didn't meet their valuation 2) they see a future in some kind of capacity for the player at the club. Just a suggestion like...
artursteppe Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Stoke midfielder quoted as saying ( today ), 'I've enjoyed my time here, but every player wants to be playing. I'm looking to get out and play some games if I can.' Wassee like?
Marmite Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Could we be one of them, would be a good signing http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11688_6714079,00.html
David Guiza Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Preston turned down bids for Lonergan, Jones and St Ledger. Could possibly be from us. Just a though.
whitlock Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Whelan and Wellens would be a cracking couple.
mickydeeeuk Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 You must mean Mario Balotelli. If you say so mate.
topharry123 Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Any news right now would be nice, it's been a disappointing day so far! Don't care much for Given (I would love him here but realistically not gonna happrn), would like to see Faye sign by the end of the day and Ricardo be offered a contract too. If that happens i'll be satisfied.
Sk4 Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 I heard reports on Talksport Sol Campbell was on his way down here , don't think anybody saw him in morrisons
Ric Flair Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 Giovani Dos Santos is leaving Spurs but doesn't look like he'll be going abroad or to anyone in the premiership before the deadline so let's hope we can steam in there next week.
ScouseFox Posted 31 January 2011 Posted 31 January 2011 2217: DONE DEAL Tottenham forward Giovani Dos Santos has joined Spanish side Racing Santander on loan until the end of the season.
