Well if Everton were freeing wages up for Dieumerci Mbokani .... :giggle:

1:03 @SkySportsbucko: Monaco striker Dieumerci Mbokani is reportedly set for a January move to Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim although he has told skysports.com that he has not ruled out a move to Everton.

Let's hope moyes let's us play him in the cup, yak and cahill doesn't sound as good as yak and vassell

He can't play in the cup replay as he wasn't registered for the original game.

Oh so that mean Dzeko cant play either? That would be a big relief

Not sure as I think he signed before the game so they might have quickly put it through which would allow him to play,

Dzeko can't play against us.

He didn't get clearance before Friday, which was the deadline for new players if they wanted to play in the 3rd round.

For anyone skeptical about his age don't be. Before he moved to Everton from Middlesbrough he had a mri wrist scan which can accurately tell how old someone is.

It was one of the conditions when signing for the Toffees by david Moyes.

Yes a lot of Nigerian players have forged their ages but Yakubu hasn't.

Anyway I think he's going to be a fantastic signing and anyone who is doubting this move is an idiot.

I'd have Deej over Beckford!

So would I Sosban, so would I.

Rubbish.. I have the wrist of an 80 year old through over use.

Dubious of anyone behind Beckford in any order! I'd have Deej over Beckford!

Haha! Deej over Earnie? Earnie sometimes gets the Spanish archer for Adebola or Tyson.

Does this mean Waghorn is going?

Waggy can't be too happy about it, he left Sunderland for first team football, and with all the signings coming in, it looks like it was 3m well spent....

No, In this divison you need 4 good strikers to get you out of the league. We have that in Waghorn, Howard, Vassell And now Yakubu.

Look at Cardiff they have Bothroyd, Bellamy, Chopra and Keogh.

He couldn't get a work permit for a move to Everton, apparently.

and McCormack

But yeah I agree, we need strength in depth up front, and Howard has probably only got another good season in him.

He is at leeds now

He's been at the ground all afternoon, how long does it take to sign a contract and take a few photos?

You forgetting the medical and the scans and stuff they do at Bupa?

Maybe the Thais want another MRI wrist scan to double check his age now they've seen him in person

Didn't he have his medical yesterday?

Stringers tweet wasn't exactly clear IMO.

Anyway, city have been plugging the "transfer news text message" thing all day, which is probably a sure fire sign it'll happen.
