Far Post Gerry Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 I once nicked Heskey's taxi - he was first in the queue and sideswiped him. Lovely chap though; he said no worries, he'd wait for the next one. Needs to toughen up, that boy.
Facecloth Posted 20 January 2011 Posted 20 January 2011 Bumped into Robbie Savage in Undecided on my 18th birthday and he bought me a pint. Thought he was a top bloke back then, but he's turning into a right **** now. Met Matt Elliott in Sainsbury's at Fosse Park a couple of days before the League Cup final against Tranmere. Wished him luck and told him he'd score. I like to think I had a little hand in that victory

Bilbo Posted 21 January 2011 Posted 21 January 2011 Me and my mates played football with Steffan Oakes and his Dad from Shawoddy Waddy at Manor Road. He was so miserable and wouldn't chip in for the cost of the 5 a side pitch.
thebartonfox Posted 21 January 2011 Posted 21 January 2011 Dion Dublin offered my Mum a cup of coffee once. She said no. He then offered my sister his autograph. She also said no. Poor Dion... Another one is that I used to play for the same under 13's side as Matt Eliotts son!

I met Emile Heskey when i was 4- my sister won a competition to be in a box with him and upside down (if anybody remembers them) for a reserve match. I had my picture took with him, and then turned to my parents and asked why he had black hands - oh dear (I was only 4 though)
