However, I have been looking at SSN on & off since 10.00am today, but I haven't heard Leicester City mentioned at all. Sven must be keeping his cards close to his chest if anything is happening. Less than 5 hours remaining now.

Players like Bamba who flew below the radar of clubs like Blackpool, Celtic, Birmingham etc and we've singed as has so far been a revelation Charlie Austin would have been worthy of a look, who's gone Burnley I believe Conor Sammon from Kilmarnock I don't have the full list of names as I'm on my phone, but I just wonder if aiming high & failing (so far) has lead us to miss out on players like Bamba who weren't previously a 'name'

Deadline day in the january window is the time at which fees are at the greatest level of inflation and if sven isn't willing to spend silly money on an average player (looking at you here liverpool) then thats fine - Ricardo is a free agent, i think Danny Unchenci (sp) and Norales are as well so there's no need to rush.

Transfer fee + signing fees + agents fees + the biggy, wages! Also, where do you think Yakubu's £30-£50k a week have come from along with Van Aanholt's, Naughton's, Mee's, Bamba's and anyone elses wage's we sign. doesn't take long for the fun to diminish to nothing once the wages & the extras have been taken out of the 'kitty'

Not to mention Vassell, who flew under a few radars and we picked him up for free. Would you prefer that we were still trying to sign Tom Kennedy's, Lamey's and Moreno's of this world? They flew under a lot of radars for a very good reason.
