FoxesFan123 Posted 18 February 2011 Posted 18 February 2011 Anyone on here who says 'in Sven we trust (RE Ricardo)' or 'Ricardo deserves his place over Weale' is absolutely deluded. The past two games have shown very, very clearly the difference between a good, reliable keeper, and a keeper who just isn't suited to this team/league. Ricardo has been terrible so far. Really. Thank god we have only been playing poor teams like Derby and Brizzle. A decent team would have targeted his obvious weaknesses and we would have conceded plenty more goals. He has to be dropped. The glaring signs are all there, some of you choose to avoid them, as obvious as they are.
ithuriel Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 first half not to bad but in the second he was awful when put under pressure in the box.
Guest DavidJCW Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Hopeless... said it after the Derby game, though some of you on here seem to think he was 'flawless' in that game, and I'll say it again now... BRING WEALE BACK!
accessory Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Sven dropped a clanger bringing in Kirkland (which cost us several points during December) and is in serious danger of doing so again with Ricardo. Back-up keeper, nothing more. When we come up against quality opposition he'll be exposed as the liability he is.
thybluefox Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 I would leave it m8, the tossers on here who think he's o.k. will just see on tueday when Kalac markII costs us the Fvckin game... Shit for brains most of um..... I always forget Weale has had a completely faultless season. And shit for brains? Talk about glass houses...
accessory Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Is it it any wonder Weale's been unsettled from time to time this season, when the back four in front of him has been chopped and changed so many times?
Fox92 Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 This. And what Fox92 said but i dont know how to multi quote on my phone!
ajthefox Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 I can't believe my eyes, I've seen two posts on the last page saying Ricardos distribution was good... ARE YOU BLIND?? His distribution was atrocious yesterday. Kick after kick under no pressure went straight to a Bristol defender with the nearest city player a good 10 yards away. His handling on a couple of occasions was truly schoolboy-esque too. I didn't want Weale dropped in the first place, but while Ricardo has been in goal I have been supportive and I completely agree that chanting Weale helps no-one. There was a bloke near me shouting Weale every 2 or 3 minutes of the second half yesterday, not exaggeration at all, he did my fooking nut in. All said and done though, Weale has to start.

blueredswed Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Is it it any wonder Weale's been unsettled from time to time this season, when the back four in front of him has been chopped and changed so many times? And? He could shout out take that men as I know all can speak english
Mack Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Weale wont pull up any trees but is a safe secure pair of hands in goal. Ricardo is your typical continental keeper... frightening! Why mend what's not broken?
TheUltimateWinner Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Ricardo hasn't had a proper shot yet and one shot he dropped was a foul but hey im a sucker for a ex international
Babylon Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 I like Ricardo, he manages to keep all the idiots on the forum concentrated in a couple of thread. Thanks Ricardo.
Babylon Posted 19 February 2011 Posted 19 February 2011 Why mend what's not broken? Because Sven thought conceding a goal almost every game from distance meant Weale was broken??
