accessory Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Horrible game, horrible opponents, horrible result. The sky blues celebrated their point as if it had earned them a title. But you just know they'll be back next season to infest our stadium. Sven has been sussed out with his selections and tactics. Why does he insist on tinkering with the defence like Claudio Ranieri on crack? Can't see us getting anything from the QPR or Norwich games. Our playoff hopes are receding fast.
song_bilong Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I don't see it. Predator PVA open your eyes then man, i thought you'd put the same picture twice by mistake, then i realised pva was wearing a city shirt
Collymore Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I think PVA was an easy outlet to vent frustration, thats all
song_bilong Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 chelsea shirt, before i get caned for that
ajthefox Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 didn't see or even listen to the match but I'm gutted we've not beaten an average at best coventry side at home after our recent form has been so good. Big 2 points dropped, but it's not over by a long way
Christoph Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 12 games left? So its not all doom or gloom really. We just need to get back on a winning streak. Atleast we didnt lose anyway
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 The winning run at home had to come to an end at some point and we would find the Chavs harder to beat than most sides due to it being a local derby. We are their Cup Final after all . We can go on a winning run again I'm sure and with the players we've got, it shouldn't be a major problem. A good weeks' training required for Sven's men IMO.
Webbo Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Disappointing, didn't play badly, didn't play well. Ricardo got some stick but I don't think he did a lot wrong. PVA and the Yak wasted some good chances.Draw was a fair result.
One Arm Babba Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Where has the belief gone? Some of the comments are ridiculous. We lose in Cardiff to a good side and draw in a local derby and all of a sudden we are awful and have terrible players??? I thought at the start of the Bristol City game if we got 10pts out of the next 5 games we'd be reet. So we are on course..... we just have to beat QPR and Norwich now. easy. Keep the faith!
MainSlammerFox555 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 chelsea shirt, before i get caned for that Yeah big clanger there. I'd say you're acquiring quite the reputation for clangers seeing as RVA looks nothing like Predator whatsoever.
Sniffer-Clarke Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Golden chance gone begging today,And on todays performance the next 3 matches look frightning i fear the worst, and anyone got any idea why SGE keeps picking Ricardo hes absolutely useless.
The Doctor Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 we weren't at our best but still should have won comfortably. Van aanholt was poor going foward and not all that at the back, he needs to look at how naughton played and start to try and mirror that. Wellens and Vassell need a rest, i'd hope for the return of mee v QPR with bruma or bamba moving foward to anchor the midfield so yuki can push on more. As for cov, woman beaters goal and that miss after he rounded ricardo aside they offered nothing.
MikeyT Posted 26 February 2011 Author Posted 26 February 2011 chelsea shirt, before i get caned for that Ok. Still don't see it. PVA Predator
Jackirius Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Well how disappointing - I blame Jackirius! Well at least you had the courtesy to spell my username right. Seriously though. I am to blame.
FrankieADZ Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 thought we should have hammered them....but nothing ever goes right Dont trust Ricardo in goal at all, he should have saved the King goal....with the ball going thru his legs. Still a point closer to Leeds.
Guest bennytwohats Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 The obvious scapegoats: PVA, Ricardo, Yakubu. The worst thing about today for me was the fans - i thought it was disgraceful everything to do with Ricardo and the way everyone was so quick to jump on the players. You don't shoot - people moan, you shoot from 30 yards out like everyone wants and predictably it goes miles over - people moan. I honestly don't think we even played that badly, we were just frustrating in front of goal. Slamming PVA would be a bit unfair imo - made alot of good runs, won a few corners and got alot of our forward play happening - he did make a fair few woeful passes and a couple of terrible shots, but it certainly wasn't all bad from him. Waghorn's distribution was as bad if not worse but i guess we will ignore that.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Yeah big clanger there. I'd say you're acquiring quite the reputation for clangers seeing as RVA looks nothing like Predator whatsoever. Oh, the irony.
boristabasco Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 all u lesta fans on here whingeing on about how you mised lots of chances and should have won are surely wearing blinkers. we missed a sitter just after our goal and then hit the bar and should have had a pen and yakubu should have been sent off for leading with his arm on westwood and anyway why dont you go on to the skysports scorecentre website and take a look at the recorded stats for the match. cov attempts 8, lesta 5. possession cov 55%, lesta 45%. nuff said...stop cryin'
Matt Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 In 3 words? Disappointing, Awful, Embaressing. After Tuesday I was questioning ruling out 2nd place. Today I questioning and almost ruling out playoffs (On the last 3 and a half performanaces certainly i'm ruling out playoffs). Gotta pull our fingers out. Next week I reckon draw at best, we'll be lucky not to lose put it that way. Sven is right the next two games are crucial...6 points needed. 4 atleast, 3 or 1 - Our season is over.
shen Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 I think PVA was an easy outlet to vent frustration, thats all Bingo

As bad as bloody Americans.
song_bilong Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 Oh, the irony. you just got reeled in there mate
boristabasco Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 never said we won the game, just pointing out your biased views on your 'big' club
Matt Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 never said we won the game, just pointing out your biased views on your 'big' club The biggest stat of the game? 1-1. As I said in three words - Disappointed, Awful, Embaressed.
MainSlammerFox555 Posted 26 February 2011 Posted 26 February 2011 you just got reeled in there mate Hook, line and sinker. I'm glad someone else noticed.
