Kitchandro Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 I can't think of a single goalkeeping error that has DIRECTLY cost us points with Ricardo in goal. You can't defend Weale anymore, he's ****ing useless. Can't deal with long-shots, terrible distribution, doesn't appear to concentrate. Then you're lying. They're both shit, anyone taking either side can just fvck off. Anyone who doesn't think we need a new goalkeeper now is just taking the piss.
Stevosevic Posted 22 April 2011 Author Posted 22 April 2011 There has to be some blame for Weale on the 2nd goal too (that and the fact Earnshaw was offside ) He was to blame for the second one as well.
Kitchandro Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 If that was the only reason amongst our idiot fanbase there wouldn't be a problem, if only it was. I didn't know slagging off the goalkeeper on the pitch and chanting for the one on the bench was just 'rating a player above another one' - no wonder some players don't look happy playing for us. You directed it at Weale lovers, not boo boys. This thread is fvcking pointless, everyone knows both goalkeepers are shit, you just want to tell everyone 'I told you so'. Well nobody gives a shit, this doesn't make Ricardo or Weale any good.
dannythefox Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 He was to blame for the second one as well. Everyone blames weale noone says anything about the four blokes that stand infront of him!
Benji Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Portsmouth at home was one of the worst things I've ever sat through as a Leicester fan. At least half the fans in the Kop and East/Kop corner were booing and chanting Weale. It was probably one of the loudest chants I've ever heard at the Walkers. Just goes to show how pissing stupid football fans are.

The Weale lovers are the boo boys - if your not one of them, it's not aimed at you. It doesn't matter if they are both crap, they created a negative energy at home games and for what? I hope they don't come back with the same attitude next season.
James18 Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 I think Weale is our best keeper at the club but he really is average at best. He's not cost us our season, but h has cost us a few points with silly mistakes and poor saves. Most recently as Palace at home and obviously today. The 2nd he really should of pushed around the post or at least away, not straight back to the middle of the area and there's just no excuse for the 3rd. He could of saved it with his foot it was that easy.
surrifox Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 neither Weale or Ricardo will be in goal next season
Guest bennytwohats Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Now now, let's not go overboard, the treatment of Ricardo by the fans was horrific, that much became clear a while ago bit it isn't like he was really putting in good performances. Both have been pretty poor tbh so I'm not sure how anyone can feel vindicated. It's a shame that any player in our goal makes a howler but it's a bigger shame if we can't get behind any player in a Leicester shirt despite those howlers. I hope we sign a new keeper because it's clear to me neither are good enough, and I hope some of the boo boys realise how silly they were, although I'm skeptical. But I will continue to support lcfc and the 11 players on the pitch, whether I think they're the best 11 or not.
Spiritwalker Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 I feel sorry for the guy, at least he gives a shit about this club I'd rather have a keeper who couldn't give a shit about the club but could save the odd shot now and again, wasn't constantly beaten from distance and didn't dive over the top of a ball he could throw his cap on.
Webbo Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 There's nothing more boring than 'I told you so'. Both of our keepers are shit, there's not a lot to chose between then.
cc_star Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Bruma's piss-poor header lead to the shot for their 3rd Why not create a thread about that mistake? Or is it because you're a tw@ with an agenda against anyone sven didn't sign? Sure Weale should have saved that... but just as equally Bruma should have cleared it as for directly attributable goals.... it pales in comparison to one of the worst defences in the division. Sven's defence. Get fvcking real

Webbo Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Bruma's piss-poor header lead to the shot for their 3rd F@ck off. What about Vitor not cutting out the cross for their first?Vitor played, Mee played and Weale played and we still shipped 3 goals.Stop looking for scapegoats.
FOXES NEVER QUIT Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 How many times does a goal keeping error have to cost us, 2nd again a long range shot weale's down fall he just can cope with them, as for the third goal pathetic was so soft how the hell can weale not save that!!!! clearly a department Sven has to focus on in the summer! cheeky attempt to bring in Given
Trav Le Bleu Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 F@ck off. What about Vitor not cutting out the cross for their first?Vitor played, Mee played and Weale played and we still shipped 3 goals.Stop looking for scapegoats. Yup, Vitor was responsible for the 1st, but went on to have a decent game. Bruma wasn't any worse than anyone else today. Stil,l we do lose when he's in the team.
Bert Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Yes Weale isn't the best of keepers but **** me, how has he cost us the season? Get a grip. It's a team game not one player. Palace at home.. Today. Bristol city away. Watford away. Palace away. That's just off the top of my head. He has cost us, you're the one that needs to get a grip.

No they don't. A lot still insist Weale is a great keeper and should be out unprecedented number one.
Kitchandro Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 No they don't. A lot still insist Weale is a great keeper and should be out unprecedented number one. No, I think people thought he deserved to still be playing when he was replaced at Derby away, which he did, regardless of what's happened since. And some may still argue Ricardo is just as shit. I don't think anyone will be claiming he's good enough now, so this thread is pointless and self-indulgent.
B52 Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 This is a thread I sadly join in on... The team spirit went down the drain when so called fans started to decide wich player Sven should play. In a very disrespectful way also. Ricardo is way ahead of Weale and just because he punch the ball he is not fit to be in our goal.
cc_star Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Palace at home.. Today. Bristol city away. Watford away. Palace away. That's just off the top of my head. He has cost us, you're the one that needs to get a grip. Sheff utd away pen save M'boro away & amazing save on the line He made a great save to deny Burnley at 0-0 which could have meant a very different result than the 4-0 it ended up being again just off the top of my head Directly attributing mistakes is fine, but he's done a lot right as well which its easy to forget after today's howler. We all know we need a new keeper to push on to the next level, but whilst the management & coaching staff turn out a defence like that since October despite signing as many players as they could have... there's only one man ultimately to blame & that's the man earning the big bucks with overall responsibility for the team & its results.
Kitchandro Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Palace at home.. Today. Bristol city away. Watford away. Palace away. That's just off the top of my head. He has cost us, you're the one that needs to get a grip. And how many defensive errors have cost us this season? Plenty as well. We've not been good enough in most areas of the pitch, goalkeeping included.
Guest Bilo Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Palace at home.. Today. Bristol city away. Watford away. Palace away. That's just off the top of my head. He has cost us, you're the one that needs to get a grip. Without Weale's errors this season, as you say: Palace at home:WIN (2 points gained) Bristol City away: DRAW (1 point gained) Watford away: DRAW (1 point gained) Palace away: DRAW (1 points gained) Forest away: WIN (3 points gained) In total, just off the top of your head and I'm sure we'd find more if we looked, that's eight points Weale's mistakes have cost us. Without these mistakes alone, we would be 6th and two points ahead of Leeds. That's how costly he has been.
LestaFox92 Posted 22 April 2011 Posted 22 April 2011 Difference is, that was an isolated incident. Blunders is starting to become a permanent fixture in Weale's game unfortunately. Yeah true say just reminded me of it that's all, the way it should never of went in but did kind of thing
