Well guess what your just little Leicester city just like were little Bristol City, Granted you apparently have money to burn at the moment and Mills is a good signing but £5.5 M ???? I feel are attack (currently) is stronger then yours we have maynard, pitman, Stead and to a certain extent clarkson. Midfield wise i feel were just as strong on the wings we have Albert Adomah who i believe is as good as any in this division we also have martin woolford proven goal scoring winger in this league at scunthorpe, yannick bolasie unproven at this level but very promising and also campbell ryce. In centre mid we have cisse, killkenny, skuse and marvin elliot. Defence is poor and lacking numbers but hopefully that will be resolved in the coming weeks. In goal we have ofcourse big DJ. So to think you are far supierior to us makes me choke on me cheerios, yes you have the edge on us this year due to your spending power but to think you will finish streets ahead of us is laughable. I used to like leicester and wish them well but after reading this thread i would love to see you do a 'Middlesborough' this year. The way your mouthing off reminds me of david haye prior to the klicthko fight, we all know what happened. Goodnight god bless

For how long this will last, we don't know. All I know is, it makes for a most welcome change to the pure dross we all had to witness in recent times, before the new consortium took over control. We're not throwing silly amounts of money around, apart from Mills we haven't really spent too much over the odds. Speaking of it, this whole "spending silly money" term is merely a hype created by the media - and most other fans from opposing teams in the Championship have started to buy into it. Our new investors have spent wisely, put the emphasis on infrastructural needs, too: New pitch (twice relayed!), new video screens, revamped club shop and ticket office and the service at the turnstiles has also slightly improved. In addition, our newly-appointed CEO (a woman!) comes across as keen on (re-)establishing the ties between club and fans. Also, most fans on here have never said that we're lightyears ahead of you. But we do have a bigger fanbase, and, knowing that this might make me sound like a Leeds United fan, apart from the years between 2004 and 2008 (a period every Leicester fan is quick to erase from his memory), have had more sportive success. This has got nothing to do with boasting. It's merely stating facts. Once your new owner finally starts to let actions follow his words, then we can talk again. We're spending because our new owners have put money into the club. Your owner hasn't yet. So, trying to talk yourselves up to our current level is a bit silly. A neutral observer would also be fast to determine that most Bristol City fans who have signed up ever since the whole Maynard story started, are coming across as relatively deluded. More like a small brother trying to prove to his older siblings that he's already got all that it takes, when in fact, he's still a couple of years behind. Face it: At the moment, you're still a small club South of Wales.
