Stevosevic Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I would like to thank the Bristol fans for signing up, they are a breath of fresh air with knowledgeable views and a billionaire chairman. Also, some of their fans are successful and have their own Ferraris, great club
ScouseFox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I think I speak for us all now when I say, C'MON YOUR PIRATES. Rovers have always had better kits. haha yes! Up the fucking GAS!
One Arm Babba Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 It's hardly what I would call a source. Sven could have been messing with the BCFC that asked him that question. I would take that whole statement about asking him a question about NM at a press conference in Sweden with a huge portion of salt.
MC Prussian Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I think I speak for us all now when I say, C'MON YOUR PIRATES. Rovers have always had better kits. YARRR!!! Hamme tha' bottle o'rum!!

MikeyT Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 A "grown man" of 58 years old has to come onto a rival championship teams forum and start having a go. Oh dear, you really need to have a look at yourself.
The People's Hero Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Oh look... In which case, let's just let the ****er go to Leicester, and then he can move on and so can we. And I hope he gets dog's abuse if he comes back to AG with another club after all this ****ing around. The bitterness has started already. They don't even know he's leaving and they're turning on him. YOU'LL HAVE TO PAY £8million to get him. Erm.. WHAT? someone said he MIGHT fancy going to a much better side? Hang the judas, let the fuc ker go!

Happy Fox Posted 11 July 2011 Author Posted 11 July 2011 More from bristolcitysweden http://www.otib.co.uk/index.php?/topic/136858-the-nicky-maynard-thread-merged/page__st__1260 As there was no complaints about speaking Swedish I pressume most attenders were Swedish. I made it clear it was a Bristol City fan sitting in his face alhough I wear neutral colours (leaving the away shirt in the car). Once the dust had settled and even the most prominent Swedish Leicester fan Mr. Per Persson had left the building I got to talk to Sven again asking him about David Rennie as I haden't spotted him during the training. For a second he understood absolutely zero so I had to explain that Rennie and Stowell are former City players and the same goes for Weale. He kind of got interested and said that Rennie had left for the hospital with a player injured early on but he would say hi from the Scandinavian Branch. After that it was all thumbs up and when he left the ground in an open sports car I shouted "Bristol City". Sven put his thumb up. Got it on photo Sven was very clear about that Nicky would like to sign for Leicester to be perfectly clear.

Guest Bilo Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Thought the username was familiar. The racist ****. On this occasion however, I hope he's right. Interesting that fvck all changes in Bristol as well. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Walter_Tull
MPH Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 I disagree. Whilst Maynard ultimately can make the decision for the clubs (player power), he is in a good position and does not need to play his hand just yet. If he does want a move to Leicester, he may still get it without losing his potential entitlement to some of the fee (by handing in a transfer request). He won't want to commit to BCFC publically until he is certain that is what he wants... we have seen footballers get abuse for that before (incl Curtis Davies as a recent example, said too much too soon, went elsewhere and got abused). i disagree with your disagreement! there is a reason players are joining us instead of some lowly prem teams - they dont want to be involved in a relegation fight... I read that our latest offer will be our final offer... if Nicky doesnt play his hand now AND he is wanting to join us then he could miss out. No other championship team would be able to offer the fee we would be offering and so he will then be left with the choice of staying at Bristol City for another year... which can actually hold a players development back quite considerably in football. As for not wanting to commit to brizzle until he is certain its what he wants... he has had plenty of thinking time and his dithering could make the decision for him.. I think we might be ready to move on - we have a season to prepare for and it looks like Sven is wanting to assemble his squad quickly so they can begin to gel...

thybluefox Posted 11 July 2011 Posted 11 July 2011 Thnak you flower that will give me something to do inbetween driving my Ferarri 599 GTB Fiorano and chilling in my swimming pool or if the moods right my hot tub. Goddamn, I wish my ePenis was as big as yours! Nothing like someone feeling they have to prove themselves to strangers online. You'll be posting pictures next. Reading that board (some of them occasionally talk sense) it seems as if the tide is beginning to turn from "its a sideways step, he'll never want to leave for you" to "let the money grabbing bastard go if he wants, he's shit anyway". Oh the fickleness of football fans.

bcfc_fan Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 i wouldn't take too much notice of what bristolcitysweeden put. Our manager has said the exact opposite and it was a standard response from Sven, i do think we'll get a clear indication by the weekend though and until Maynard says something it's irrelevant what everybody else says.
Redski Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Can i just say one thing. Outside of Leicester LCFC are not seen as a big club. You are seen on a par with the likes of Charlton or Coventry. Not exactly the sort of club players fall over themselves to sign for, unless of course you off players like Nuggent £25k a week.

It is really only a very small minority that think we are a huge club that have a good given right to be in the Prem. In saying that with this good backing and a manger like Sven our stature in England is certaintly getting bigger.
Redski Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 I used those clubs because of their recent premier league experience and that's how I see it. It wasn't meant as a dig, just that SOME on here believe you are on a par with the likes of Villa or Everton .
