Blinking Blue Owl Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Rumour has it that Maynard does not like the idea of wearing a Leicester shirt because that inbred Brizzel tycoon has told him that the symbol above King Power means WAN in Malayan ?

thybluefox Posted 12 July 2011 Posted 12 July 2011 Apparently NM has said he wants what is best for him and for the club, and he wants it all sorted soon. No suprise that no one is any the wiser though of course.
Conscript Fox Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Alright, lets see if we can drive this ram raider of a thread over the 200 page mark before he signs, if he ever does.
Nod.E Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Brizzle fans on their forum seem to be of the general opinion that he'll end up here. Stop your bloody whinging. Transfers can be complicated and don't always go through instantly. If the transfer is possible, Sven will do what he does best when the time comes. I've got no qualms with discussion on the topic of Maynard signing but the impatience being displayed in this thread is child-like.
PeterTaylorsApprentice Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 it won't happen now, just end the thread, it's pointless...
Guest Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 apparently in the interview he said he was told it would take 18 months for his injury (knee I understand) to fully heal and he is unable to do double training sessions. this rather worries me to be honest. up to now my heart's been set on maynard but is this too big a risk?

stix Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Rumour has it that Maynard does not like the idea of wearing a Leicester shirt because that inbred Brizzel tycoon has told him that the symbol above King Power means WAN in Malayan ? Who speaks Malayan?
Conscript Fox Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 it won't happen now, just end the thread, it's pointless... I hope you are right, its too much for what he is, my God, Stoke wont pay that for Cole, and Liverpool reportedly about 6 or 7 for Charlie Adam. We would be had at the money being mentioned now. had. Anyway, its not about that anymore, its now about a 200 pager on a guy who will most likely never play for us. Only 44 to go. Thats in our hands, now push lads ...... push the beast along.
LestaFox92 Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 lets just 10 mill it and be done with it lads make a record for that tinpot club and ourselvses
jonah Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 i dont really have much to say on him, if he comes he comes, if he dont then im sure its not for the want of Sven trying and im also sure that Sven will have other irons in his fire with regards to his 20 goal a season striker.the draw of our SVENGALI is large what this post is really about is playing my part in getting us to the 200 page mark..........i may repost it futher down the line.
SystonFox Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Here's an effort to get it to 200. Good player but not worth 5million
jonah Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 £5 million now will proberbly mean £10 million when we get to the premiership next season, speculate to accumulate yes he,s had an injury and yes £5 million is a lot of money but its money well spent if he scores the goals to get us up, and if he doesnt and we miss out on promotion then i proberbly think that the £5million will be the least of our financial worries! as for the injury well injury is a risk taken by all players everytime they play, doesnt matter how much we pay if they fall badly and break a leg in there first game then there not gonna get 20 goals for us no matter how good they are or how injury free they have been.
Number 6 Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Thought this was dead but then everything I hear suggests Sven still has him in mind for next season. Sven usually gets his man.

bcfc_fan Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Guest Bilo Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 CMS Joking apart I think Maynard is more of a target than CMS was, and Sven is prepared to pay as much as is required to make this happen. A forward line-up of Nugent and Maynard looks very tasty.
jonah Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you need to clean your keys on your laptop ... ithink the H & A are sticking??
MikeyT Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Do you really not have anything better to do than come on here?

HEGGSY Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Bristol fan just put on the footballforums.net board that the headline in their local rag today is SVEN GIVES UP ON MAYNARD it could be a load of crap however for all we know.
MikeyT Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Bristol fan just put on the footballforums.net board that the headline in their local rag today is SVEN GIVES UP ON MAYNARD it could be a load of crap however for all we know. Load of rubbish. I see nothing. http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/bristolcity
Guest Bilo Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Presume that's what the mouthbreather a couple of posts back is wetting his Huggies about. It seems odd how their local rag would know, everything we've heard and read this end indicates another bid will go in sooner rather than later. If it's a hack getting excited at the lack of movement our end, he might do well to realise nothing's likely to happen till the team returns from Sweden.
Jon the Hat Posted 13 July 2011 Posted 13 July 2011 Lets face it, keeping hold of Maynard would be the biggest piece of transfer action to happen to Bristol in years. Highlight of their season, and it hasn't even started yet .
