Puts it into perspective! + 1 mate. I just think this all smacks of desperation now. We are running out of time to get the striker we most definitely need if we have any chance of getting top 6 this season (if you bear in mind just over a week to start of season and for a player to bond with the team etc) and we have put so much effort into getting this one player that hasn't worked out. I think Bristol have ran out winners ar the negotiating table as they have taken us all the way until we are just prepared to pay anything just to say we got a striker in. We should have walked away weeks ago and put our efforts into other options - sadly mist of those options are now gone.
