tylesta Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 they seem to think us and forest are going to go in for a bidding war and let him go for 6 MILLION or else forget about signing him as a low end prem club will be in for him when out of contract ? did they think us or forest could be a prem club when he is out of contract. imo they keep saying a 20 goal a season championship striker is worth 6 mill he aint he has scored 20 in a season once

The Doctor Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 Colin Sexstone isn't the person I'm on about. Steve Lansdown is our ex chairman and now owner. He's loaded believe me. The Village Green was overruled last week. It seems like now all we have to do is wait and see if they are appealing or not. If they don't which hopefully they will not at it will have to be a judicial review if they do. It's just a matter of time before the diggers are in. You don't mess with the Kinks, even if only 3 of the ones who recorded that album still have a pulse.

If the locals are granted leave for judicial review then Maynard will have qualified for a bus pass by the time the stadium gets built. Stay at Ashton Gate, aways a good away trip with or without seat-backs
Spudulike Posted 23 June 2011 Posted 23 June 2011 Don't expect any quick developments on this.... Are any of our players involved in the deal, Bert ?? Understand if you can't say.
