Anyway, i felt i had to register here and try and get across the way of thinking of most City fans, especially after reading this thread over the last couple of days. Without doubt most City fans are stuck between their head and their heart. like myself, most "Shitheads" think that NM will be off this summer but are praying that he will sign a year's extension with a reasonable minimum fee release clause. All being well and Nicky start's where he left off last year, he will continue his 1 in 2 goal ratio and push us towards the pray-offs. Some of you understand and some of you don't understand that YES, we are in danger of losing our most potent striker and if his form continues and he goes in January then I'm in no doubt that NM will move to an Established prem club and he will show he is more than capable of playing in that league. Will he leave us before the seasons start's?? Possibly, yes..... Will he leave us for LCFC?? Possibly, yes.... Is Sven a better manager than Millen?? his record, without doubt shows this. Is Sven a better man manager than Sven?? who knows.... I personally believe (allthough it hurt's)!! that LCFC are a bigger club than BCFC and with the players you bring in this season deservedly are one of the favourites to gain promotion. But at the same time, like any football supporter around the country i believe that the team i support is capable of winning promotion this coming season, after all if we don't think this way, what's the point? As for a fee...... i personally thnk that £3m - £4m would be very tempting for BCFC with possibly a player coming our way (especially if you have a Decent Creative Midfielder or Centre half or Left back you could offer us). If we sell Nicky than we have to pay CAFC 20% of any profit so £4m for me means we should have approx £1.4m to strenghten in the positions we need, For the record we have a ready made replacement n Brett Pitman IMO. As for rival bidders......West ham are a definate threat, Saints i don't think so and Florist???? you gotta be f***ing joking!!! Just in case this is my first and last post, i wish you all the best for the forthcoming season (apart from when you play us obviously), i'll be intrigued to see who you eventually sign after seeing all the names mentioned in your transfer forum section!! He belived thatthe club are creating an auction, + they could desperatly do with 3m and won't let it go. Maybe fairly obvious stuff

I would say that NM is inevitably due to leave your football club before the start of the new season. However, where he finishes up is anyones guess. In The Championship it appears that it could be between LCFC & West Ham, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a couple of Prem clubs interested enough to make a bid for him. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that we sign him as I believe he would be a great signing & would be a 20+ goals player helping us to achieve a top 2 finish. Are you old enough to remember one of my all time favourite Leicester players, that we signed from Bristol City, Bobby Kellard? A fantastic all action midfielder who took no prisoners but could not be regarded as a dirty player, also another fans favourite that joined us from your football club, the brilliant Chris Garland. Good luck for the new season apart from when we hopefully take 6 points from you.

Maybe fairly obvious stuff I went to the Barnsley vs bristol city game towards the end of last season and had a tour of the ground prior to the match. Had a look on the scouting list and Leicester had 2 scouts there. Thought at the time that we must have been serious about signing a player from one of the sides as unusual to send 2 scouts to a game like that!
